No fuss, good coffee. The decor is somewhere between an old cinema and an old style classroom. Immediate service, only one size of coffee- perfect. Two strong lattes ordered on a Monday morning. Two completely different coffees cone out - one weaker and hot to touch, the other strong and cool.

I've been here quite a few times. De Graves St in general is an amazing place. Even took some of my wedding photos there!

Coffee here is consistent, strong, and full bodied.
Atmosphere is bustling and very buys-city.
Service? Nothing special, but it will do.

Dragged here by my brother for some breakfast last week, and was pleasantly surprised with the coffee.

Great breaky. Coffee to go with it, just ok. A little bitter, and so I couldn't finish it. I guess I expected a little higher, being in Degraves St. Cool shop fit-out, and very tasty breakfast.

If I'm in the city during the day, I can't leave without at least a quick hit from Degraves. Down an interesting lane way lined with graffiti, Degraves is a hip grungy little joint. In a fitting way, the service is very casual, but decent.

Used to come here in high school before I knew any better. The coffee is extremely average - really bitter and watery. Sometimes you'll even get a few chunks of spend coffee grounds rolling around the bottom.

OK - so I mainly love coming here for the atmosphere. Old tram seats, cool dude waiters. Mostly the coffee is good but last one I had tasted a bit burnt. Its great sitting in the window and watching Melbourne rush past while seeped in the grungy Degraves charm.

Degraves is definitely the place to visit if your wandering around the lane ways even if its just to sit and people watch. The last time i was here the barista was great, talking to me about monsoon coffee and other single origins, it was a shame i had to rush off for a train.

Went here on a trip back to Melbs over summer. Service was better than most, attentive waiters who love their product. Had a latte which was one of the best I\'ve had. They serve it ready to drink - not hot. Agree with the people watching - Degraves is a pumping cool laneway.

This is a beautiful cafe. I love the interior, the seating is spectacular, old school movie cinema seats -- so comfortable. While a little crowded, it can be stifling hot inside in the summer but warm and cosy in the winter.

Ordered a skim latte, came out as a cappuccino. It was sent back and then came back as a skim cappuccino!! What the hell I said so I drank it. It was fantastic!! One of the best cups I've had. The waiters are cool!
