By far, the first time I've tasted Gridlock Coffee. I had a latte; with a nice fruity taste and perfect balance. A little bit mild for my liking, but still a good place to hang around if you're in the city.
Oh, i was expecting more on the latte art, but i guess the owner won't really... Read more

Con and Peter are such experts at what they do. I've been back many times now and have never had anything other than a beautiful cup of coffee. Keep doing what your doing guys!
1 Flat White, 1 Flat White
coffee ok could have been hotter the barista looked a bit intense argueing with the other next to him see u guys much later..............
My first coffee with them could quite possibly have been the most burnt I've ever had. I decided to give them a second chance. I ordered a long mac again, when she was making it I noticed she added a lot of water. I asked her if it was a long mac or black. She responded with a question, asking what... Read more
Been here twice. It's an ugly diner. The metal stools make the most awful noise when moved. I expect so much from them, considering my favorite cafe uses their blends and singles. Massive disappointment though. Today, the single origin shorty was watery and pasty yellow. Flavor was leaving little... Read more
My piccolo was deep, rich, and full of flavour. Every sip was perfectly smooth. Pretty cool atmosphere and good service too.

Came in to try the single origin from Kenya. Staff said it was fruity, i found it to be bitter. Not the best experience, considering it was $3.80. I did expect more after reading these guys had won awards in roasting.
This place is pretty close to absolute perfection . Coffee was IMHO the best in Melbourne , consistently excellent , even when there's a long queue during the morning rush , its simply beautiful , incl latte art. Service is fantastic and food highly recommended . Love this cafe !
This is a mixed little cafe. It has the appearance of a trendy cafe but is really filled mostly with suits. Maybe it was the time of day I was there, anyway.
The service wasn't great. It's not that the staff weren't nice, just trying to order was a bit of a muddle.

So not quite sure what has gone on here, but consecutive lost/incorrect food orders and more importantly a consistent drop in coffee quality/consistency have led to this place being scratched off my CBD weekly coffee break list.

2 Flat Whites, 1 Espresso
Having been a regular here, I was always well looked after. Get to taste new single origins or new blends every now and then, they sometimes even give a free cup to taste. They also knew if I were to try a single origin that doesn't cut through milk quite well, they would tell me and offer either... Read more
1 Latte, 1 Long Macchiato
these guys are slipping, coffee still above par, but service VERY poor. lost our order again last week.
Fast paced and tightly packed cafe boasting world champion barista - be careful what you boast about! Food acceptable, coffee good, but no gold here! Worth another visit
Two days ago I reviewed 65 Degrees and today we are back.
Is it possible for a stand out cafe to really step up another level? Yes, it is. Today's coffee blend had the smooth strength that doesn't at any point force the issue of potency over flavour. Again the preparation was... Read more
Since I first reviewed this cafe, it has become my regular workplace caffeine hit on weekday mornings. 65 degrees is a veritable octopus of coordinated coffee making at peak hour. I'm guaranteed not just an awesome coffee every time, but a quick one too.
For some reason, they make... Read more

If you remember how good 7 Grams in Richmond was a couple of years ago, you're probably familiar with the award-winning latte art stylings of Con Haralambopoulis. He and his brother Peter run a well-trained team and the work is drum-tight. They roast their own beans in the back. Sure, this place is... Read more
Great for a take away. Lots of coffee but very quick and good.
Perfect! It's exactly what every coffee shop/café in Melbourne should aim to be. Wasn't pretentious or "hipster ish" at all, with just a really nice and relaxed vibe. Quick service, large portioned and reasonably priced food (really tasty too) and had one of the best espresso's I've had in a long... Read more
excellent drop of espresso, great service and they're open before 7am! just wish the office was a little closer.
I had to write a second review. Can I do that?!
I went past 65 Degrees the other day to buy some more coffee for home (my preferred at home). Of course, I also wanted to try out their latest grind. The Barista spent 3 minutes explaining (after I asked) the nuances of the specific... Read more

I just discovered this little place thanks to beanhunter. I just work in Exploration Lane which is about 2 mins walking distance and today being the first stop here, coffee is awesome!!!! I will definitely be a regular. Keep it up 65 degrees!!
If this cafe was a batsman, every ball would go for six. Coffee is excellent and the food doesn't disappoint. Just be aware that this cafe's reputation precedes it - last time I was there, a queue was lined up out the front door the entire time of my visit, getting their take away goodness. Service... Wow...I've finally found a long mac that really hits the spot. Perfect extraction and smooth in taste. The barista's at this place are down-to-earth, friendly and are serious about their coffee. Really love the blend too, really full bodied and left a really pleasant taste afterwards.
1 Long Macchiato
Wonderful flat white, with beautiful intensity, smoothness and presentation. Unfortunately only had time for one coffee. Friendly service and obviously budget fit out. Look forward to returning for another.
Wow what an amazing system resulting in fantastic service at great speed. Delicious hazelnutty coffee with well textured milk.
