  Went with high expectations. Ordered my standard latte to kick off. They used a special milk which to me tasted like off milk. Soured the experience. They did make me a new coffee with normal milk at no charge but the damage was done. Good vibe though and good options available when ordering with the drips.

  Beautiful coffee every time. Try asking for the coffee of the day - it's a few cents more for a touch of exotic in your day. Staff are friendly and they're the kind to recognize you when you come back for more.

  Great coffee here by axil, really enjoyed it and was pleased to see the cold drip making an appearance. Yummy panini's and extremely good coffee here, small place but nice and cozy, thanks guys

  Here's hoping I came in on a bad day, because contrary to my previous appreciative reviewers, I had two bad cafe lattes from LBB. And by bad I mean 'piping hot and burnt'. This was a shame because it didn't allow me to enjoy what clear pride they take in knowing their bean inside out.

  Great pick me up coffee this morning, was offered the coffee of the day which was an ethiopia with notes of smooth dark choc. They delivered an espresso which was choc like with a clean finish, order a piccolo as well of the blend which was a balanced and sweet. Good to hear some different music... Read more

  Had a take away Long Macchiato from here the other week after reading all the positive reviews. Coffee was ok and drinkable but wasn't overly special, too much milk and not particularly strong - for my tastes I prefer a Long Mac with just a stain (or 'spot') of milk.   The most reliably good coffee at the top end of the city. Real, fresh coffee with great service. And now they are serving sandwiches at lunch which makes it even better.

  Stumbled on this one a couple of months ago while on a work break, and since then The Age has named it as one of Melbourne's best - and there's a reason for that. LBB is funky almost to the point of caricature, but most importantly the coffee is consistently excellent. Well done guys!
