Well what can i say. These guys have certainly picked up there game. The brewing methods and single origins are sure signs of change in a cafe. Then the retail section is set up with all home barista bits.

I had a Cold Drip Honduran Coffee - absolutely amazing! The most ideal beverage for a hot afternoon. Slightly bitter at first, but I diluted it with a dash of iced water. That really softened the coffee and brought out the bouquet - just like a good whiskey!

coffee has improved here but still isnt great. i had a short mac in the costa rican single. came out 3/4 full in a picollo latte glass and was a tad over extracted i have to say. there was no distinct notes which you would expect from a costa rican bean which was a shame. the food on the other hand... Though the selection of cakes is small, it is more than made up for by the quality. Coffee great, nutty and creamy but a touch hot. Peppermint hot Chocolate is very good.

Coffee: Cafe latte. verdict: consistently good each time I'm here. smooth, silky milk, coffee flavorsome thru the milk exactly as it should be for a morning coffee. yet to try short black, but look forward to trying each of the single origans they offer, as well as th house blend.
