Went back today expecting that this place would be left behind since a year ago when I was much less fussy about my coffee. How I was wrong. Better service, very friendly. Excellent cups of coffee. They spell it 'Magick', but it's still very good. Oh and nice touch with the latte art!

Some of the best coffee around Melbourne’s suburbs can be found in this new little café in Diamond Creek. Piccolo Meccanico is run by a super friendly unpretentious owner who really does know how to make great coffee, not only that but he can pull some of the craziest latte art I have seen for... I confirm everything aramsay said below.

Great to see a dedicated coffee shop in Diamond Creek. I could tell after one lap of the street that this was the place to get a coffee, and the external cues were correct. Shocked by a face looking up at me from my latte art.

After all the raving, I went here about 2 months ago on a Sunday. They must have had their B Team on because my cappuccino was the worst I've had in a long time; weak and watery. My girlfriend also ordered a Spiced Chai Latte which simply tasted like warm milk topped with cinnamon. There was also... Read more

Went here a few weeks back to see what all the fuss was about and it was a little disappointing. My wife ordered a Portuguese tart and tea while I had banana bread and latte. Had to wait a bit even though it wasn't busy. The tea pot was dirty, the latte looked great but tasted ordinary and the... Read more

Easily best coffee in diamo, but that's not too hard... A bit disappointed in food offer though

Nice coffee, Jasper branded so it can't quite stand up to places that roast fresh. Latte art was beautiful. Vintage furnishings in that stripped-back style most fancy coffee places have now. A nice find so far from the city.

Great coffee when it's not busy! Service pretty slow, not the cleanest cafe! Generally stick to take-away.

Piccolo, what's happened?! You've gone downhill over the past few months.

Was very impressed by the service, the coffee, the atmosphere and the people. Loved all about this place. Coffee was blended well. Milk was heated perfectly, froth smooth not bubbly and thick! Great coffee art and great flavor.

The coffee was worth the visit to this cute cafe. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a nice toasted sandwich. I will return again for another Cafe latte. Quite busy with many people seemingly regulars as the staff interacted well with patrons as they entered and departed. Nice experience.

I'm really pleased to have found Mark again after he left Were St Montmorency. If you live in the area you need travel no further in search of excellent coffee, and if you have travelled far you'll be glad you did. The coffee won't disappoint! I too am a lover of Portuguese custard tarts, and here... Read more

One of my two preferred cafes in Diamond Creek. It does depend which barista is on as to what you get, but when it's good, it's really good.

A local favourite. Great coffee, good atmosphere and although the food selection is small, it's generally well made. Try the muffins, if they're fresh.

Quaint, low key on arrival and whilst unsure on what to expect what we saw on arrival certainly wasn't it! Limited lunch options, really a coffee place with some small breakfast and focacia options. The coffee - long black and a skinny latte. Latte - smoooooooth! Quality Latte, wife didn't have any... I visit piccolo as often as I can. The Barista takes time to learn the preferred coffee of his regular clientele. Always perfect temperature and lustrous texture. Even with the soy milk. All staff are very pleasant and good to have a chat with. Small selection of simple but tasty treats. Even bacon... Read more
