  The food here is amazing but please don't come for coffee. It is either burnt, cold, weak or so hot it's undrinkable or a mixture of all of these. It might has well be Neacafe or a coffee bag. At least those are consistent.

  I've been to Georges too many times to count. I've had countless friends work here, have been to 21sts here, and have had dinners here.

  I second timfazio on this one. This is the place to 'see and be seen' in Camberwell, especially if you're a high school student at one of the private schools in the area. I used to come here often in my high school days and nothing has changed. The coffee is still terrible, the food is passable though.

  The coffee here was very ordinary, with the milk being scalded. Service from very young and disinterested staff as well, in a large room, with no intimacy,adds to a place where you would not go for coffee alone.

  Generally terrible coffee and overpriced food. There are much better restaurants in the area with a much better atmosphere.

  Good food at a decent price an the staff are fairly attentive. The coffee is all standard fare and they're happy to take it back and try again if it's not up to your expectations. Generally not a good spot if you're just after a coffee though.
