I had really high expectations of this place. The coffee did the job, but it wasn't the top notch stuff I thought it would be. Breakfast was ridiculously good though, one of the bests I have had. Will come back again for sure!
This is one of my favourite places for coffee in Melbourne.
Great coffee just wish the place was bigger so I can try a meal.
Awesome well made smooth 5 senses coffee.
Located just metres from Camberwell Station and the Burke Road tram, getting here could not be any easier! In fact, as a pre-transport caffeinated location, none in Camberwell betters this establishment.
From the outside, a solitary indoor plant is met with a pseudo-Corinthian column... Read more
This is a nice little cafe just next to the station. My cappuccino was good. Not amazing, just what you would expect. Went cold quite quickly, but that was probably cause it was freezing outside, not so much poor barista skills. After moving inside all was well. Service was on par with usual.
Magnificent Short Mac
I was introduced to Collective by a coffee-addicted mate and it's now in my top 3 favourite cafes!
Coffees are consistently delicious, smooth and full flavoured. They're quick with their service and not phased by busy times or quiet times. The staff are warm and friendly too.
Great coffee and food, especially liked my breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast with spinach, thick-cut bacon and three types of mushrooms. The long black coffee on the day was full-flavoured and not bitter.
Fantastic coffee and food! Will definitely recommend to friends!
Excellent. Perhaps teach your waiters what single origin is, but that is surprisingly common.
Its hard to find somewhere as homely as Collective espresso.
The beautifully extracted Five senses espresso and the odd single origin, coupled with well textured milk makes for a stand out cafe in its self. But where Collective really shines is the service. The chaps here know... Read more
Yeah this is not bad - certinally the best in Camberwell (until coffeehead opened up that is). A farily limited range of coffee's avalible. I don't think they'd do very well in the CBD but the food is good and the seating is not bad if it isn't too ful. Staff very friendly - a solid option I say.
I like the boldness of this cafe. Whereas other cafes in Camberwell cater for middle class, middle aged diners, this place is free spirited and appeals to the young at heart. I like the long wooden communal table with its high stools, the white walls and the encased signage full of disposable... Read more
Awesome. Great coffee, food and service in a space with a nice feel.
A great place with brilliant staff
Nice coffee and can't wait to go back to try the breakfast!
Excellent coffee and beautiful breakkie. A small shop, but that's half the charm!
Perfect coffee. Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff.
Come for the coffee, stay for the food.
It's easy to see why this cafe gets consistently good reviews. A passion for great coffee and attention to detail when it comes to the food. The long communal table works well in the small space. Service is friendly and attentive. The only... Read more
Coffee is very good and the beans are worth buying to grind at home. Staff are fairly friendly but it does have an anti-cool intimidating factor which makes it a tad uncomfortable waiting to be served.
Excellent coffee, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
Tried their long black, and i love it. smooth, and a hint of sweetness, not too acidic as well.
Good coffee with a good atmosphere, a nice place to go if you just get off the train
best coffee in Camberwell!
