  This is a charming little cafe, away from the main streets of Brighton. The coffee is by Red Star, and I have not had this brand in the past. Thankfully, my short black was solid, with a good body. Nothing extraordinary. Staff are friendly, and the menu is delicious. I like finding Polenta as an option.

  Coffee wasn't as good as expected. Long mac's are the only thing I recommend ordering. Their magic's need a little work. Everything was top notch except for the arrogant waiter who thought he was too good for his job.

  Neat corner cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. Coffee is expressed through a La Marzocco machine to near perfection. Chicken salad was great also.

  Great coffee, great service! Do yourself a favor and get here! You may have to wait for a table because they are that good! Flat white was absolutely spot on! The poached eggs were a perfect serving size. Chin kho thinks this place is going to be hard to beat!

  Popped in here based on the reviews and are very glad we did! Fabulous coffee and even in the midst of the Sunday rush they had our takeaways ready as quick as can be. :-)

  Have been to this busy little place a few times and the coffee has been good every time. The coffee is strong enough (I could always handle stronger) and very smooth. Food is always fantastic. if you can get a seat it's a great cafe.

  The food was nice but little overpriced, but then again it is Brighton so what can you expect... Didn't love the coffee. With all the other cafes in Melbourne I wouldn't rush back to this one.

  If you're ever down Brighton way you must stop by The Little Ox for their amazing coffee and all day breakfast menu. I would put the coffee on the same scale as Proud Mary's (Collingwood) which is a big call. Menu is quirky and uses really fresh produce - I recommend you try the Mexican black... Read more
