  An immaculate cafe snuck in middle class Balwyn, which is amazingly clean and tidy. The friendly staff are attentive to detail and the coffee and food is presented to appeal to the eye and the palate.   I must say that I was disappointed with The Brown Engine, especially after the last review - I think they maybhavr gotten it wrong. The service was lovely, and so it's a sad thing to write a bad review, but it wasn't that great.

  Been to this little place a few times, being a barista myself and I don't rate coffee lightly, the coffee is simply amazing. For the equipment they have he does very well. Proves that an expensive fit out and funky theme are a nice but not the be all for a great cup.
