God I used to love this place. Great consistent coffee with a simple tasty menu, and über cool location. My how it's star has faded, I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed. First they changed the menu. Then the service slipped over the line from cool to douche. At least the coffee remains ok.

I've been here a few times on my visits to Melbourne and its always been fine, but this time the coffee they served I had to send back as it was Luke warm. But when the replacement coffee came back it Elena's only marginally warmer. I know coffee isn't supposed to be overly hot but I was drinking... Read more

The atmosphere here is great -- lots of little nooks and crannies to sit in, and there's the hustle and bustle outside as well.

The menu is a little bare -- no eggs or bacon or anything that way inclined. The pides are good though. Not quite sure I wanted one for breakfast though!Read more

Wall Two 80 is a small, lowly lit cafe with limited seating and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful however, they probably need to have a quicker turn around between an order being made and then brought out, especially to accommodate with the demand of people who want to... Great cafe- good vibe, friendly staff- inconsistent coffee, not sure if I'd go back. More on the food menu would be good.

Generally fantastic coffee - depending of who's driving the machine. Can be a little inconsistent so perhaps one for locals who get the benefit of regularity to up the average... Love the simple menu of all day pides. Not much for brekky but toast with raspberry grappa jam more than hits the spot.... Read more

Coffee okay, but slow even with such a big coffee machine. It has definately lost its edge in recent years. Such a shame :(

Such a shame to see the coffee standards drop well below acceptable, it's been getting worse for a little while, sadly this morning my wife and I received two take-away coffees that made us both decide to drive around the block to return. Whilst the staff were ok about the situation (I don't like... Read more

This place was great two years ago and has quickly become a poor cafe, the staff are arrogant and dont really care, the is of average quality maybe due to the staff not caring. Hence why I no longer give them my custom.

Overall good venue for a lunch pide. Coffee is consistent and well made but doesn\'t blow your socks off. Granitas (when available) are great on a hot day. Seating is sparse and if you like a large takeaway coffee forget about it. They only do one size - regular.

The coffee I have from here is consistent. The menu might be small but there's the odd gem (soldiers anyone!?). Hint of the day is to try the granitas.

Very happy with the yummy hot soups and piping hot pide's on offer, always consistently yummy... simple but very yummy filling combos. Coffee isn't always consistent but when the coffee supreme barista guy makes it, you can count on a winner.

Takeaway Review - Fairly consistent although the temperature of the coffee can be a little on the luke warm to cool side of things ... staff are usually tentative and on to it from the window at least.

'The Wall' is a very busy place on Carlise Street, but I can't understand why. The service is pretty ordinary - the staff don't smile or seem interested, they don't like customers either (at least that was my impression).

I ordered a short black this afternoon - honestly it was one... Read more

Average, yet consistent coffee, good food, terrible service! In fact the service was so bad that it took a chef to come out of the kitchen so we could order our coffees..for a Tuesday mid-morning one would think four wait staff could handle a few tables.

I live locally, and only go to this cafe as it is easy to get to and opens at 6.30am, though I only go under absolute duress. I have to write this bad review because the service is so truly appalling. Every time I have been there I have been treated as though my order is a hassle. The staff don't... Read more

While the reputation here is good, the attitude, ego and inability to serve customers means this place is no longer worth the effort.
Staff are rude, when positioning you on a table, only to forget about you, even after you ask where you are meant to order. No Water glasses on tables, and... Read more
