  This place is so cool. It has a work horse slayer machine, which has automatic preinfusion. No wonder the south blend from coffee supreme had a rich crema, and great chocolate notes. Food was scrumptious, especially the lamb burger. Staff are very friendly and great to chat with.

  Batch came to me highly recommended by both my friends and beanhunter. It did not disappoint. Given it was so busy, we took a seat outside. A friendly waitress kept an eye out fir a table inside though, and in a few minutes we were inside.

  Batch Espresso is one of those long serving quiet achievers.
  
  They've been in the game for around 10 years as far as I can recall, and they have been consistently serving balaclava with great food, high quality coffee, and that Kiwi-kitsch style for the whole time.

  wow! these guys really know coffee..   Words cannot express our affection - personable service, delicious menu and coffee we would cross 10 suburbs for, let alone one. A weekly visit is a must; twice-weekly if we can find a good excuse.

  Dear girl behind the counter, please seem a little more interested in serving me next time. It would even somewhat make up for having to throw the awful long black in the bin. Pick up your game, you're being left behind.

  Very very very ordinary. Poor service & poor coffee to go with it. Some advice for the brunette girl making coffee - 'learn to smile & converse with people & watch your coffee shots', very weak coffee (I threw it out). '9 to 11 second pre-infusion' - I don't think so!!!

  A friend of mine recommended I try the coffee at Batch & that the owner makes awesome coffee & they use a 'Slayer' (coffee machine) which apparently is the Rolls Royce of coffee machines.

  Great little place, love the menu. Coffee was great the first time i was there and ok the next. Staff were hit and miss for me, on the first visit they were great but on the second not so much.

  Cute and quirky fit out. Love love love the menu! Amazing considering the size of the kitchen. Cheese scones bitey and perfectly warmed. Coffee ok if the staff get your order right.

  Beautiful food, great coffee and good service - consistently. It can get busy on the weekends do you might wait five or ten minutes for a table but it's well worth it
