Big glass windows and wooden taes set the scene for noisy but lively cafe. The chairs are a little uncomfortable, but otherwise there is nice feeling to this place.
The service is friendly, but coffees took a little while to come out.
The coffee itself is strong and... Read more
Cool little place in the middle of the burbs. Would suggest more signage as I nearly drove past. 5 senses is usually a good bean and the Guatemalan was excellent as a short Mac.
Omg. I'm surprised at how good the coffees were (considering this place has changed owners a couple of times). My long black with the Ethiopian yirg was amazing and true to the bean. My mum had a decaf soy and it was beautifully presented and tasted amazing (apparently - I didn't try it). Patrick... Read more
Having heard 'You must go to Apte' for at least 6 months, I'm pleased to report this busy indoor / outdoor cafe lives up to it's reputation.
I'm told the brekkie is better than the coffee, and that's probably true - but our Lattes and Flat Whites this morning were great temp, full... Read more
Cafe Apte is one of my favorite places to go and have a coffee and relax on the weekend. The coffee and the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. A bonus for any mums & dads is that this cafe is baby friendly with toys and a safe courtyard for the little ones, so you can relax... Read more
Coffee is on the weaker side, so I always order a strong piccolo to get a fuller body of flavour.
One of my favourites. Great coffee, great food and even better service. Sadly, it's definitely dropped over the past few months, with some of the best moving to Three Bags Full. It's like visiting an old house though, so I have a bit of a soft spot for it.
hello worlds loudest lunchtime cafe!
caution.. don't go to this place on a lunch date.. hard to hear.. but! with that out of the way.. last time i went here i sat outside in the lovely sunshine!
coffee is great here. and the menu is quite complementary to their coffee.. i... Read more
Apte is brilliant. A very wholesome experience, from coffee through to atmosphere. Decor is homely, the kinda of home you want to live but don't have. The food is outrageously good and they know a lot about coffee. I've never had a bad coffee here. Baristas are baristas, not staff making coffee -... Read more
Great food. Great coffee. Always worth a visit.
As a long time devotee, I was hugely anxious when APTE was sold a couple of years back, and some of my favourite staff left. But to his credit, the new owner is no fool; if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The coffee here remains among the best quality and consistency, the menu has barely changed (in... Read more
Apte is now one of my local stop offs. Yes, it's always busy but I find the staff always friendly and the coffee never let's me down.
As I regular soy drinker, the fact they use Bon Soy is a good indication that they take the coffee making seriously here. My lattes and cappuccino's are... Read more
Apte has been on my to do list for a while now. I'm glad I finally found time to visit.
Coffee was good. Food was very good. The setting was lovely and very comfortable. The service was efficient and pleasant.
The only real negative were the other customers. The place... Read more

Delicious food. Delicious coffee. I miss Apte when I'm away for too long.
Great coffee. Great service. Was only going to come in for a take away latte, but ended up staying for ricotta hot cakes! Delicious.
Enjoyed a fabulous coffee. 5 Senses beans and extracted beautifully. Will be back, even if we are interstate. Decor is simple elegance and has a great feel. Food menu looked great too!
