The food was expensive and not that great, my take away coffee was awful!

When a place is this good, any criticism is nitpicking, but here goes....:-)

My latte, while robust and with near perfect crema was not hot enough for my liking. I don't think that is a proud Mary issue, but a general observation of coffee in Melbourne.

The coffee itself was excellent. You could really taste the floral overtones from the beans, even over the milk. It left a beautiful almost tobacco like taste on the palate after it was finished... Hard to fault!

The food was indulgent and the service welcoming . The place itself (like always) was buzzing. This place is a gold standard, I just wish their coffee was a little hotter...

I love the vibe of this place, I keep coming back because the coffee is strong, service great and is usually full. Worth a trip for a coffee lover, I have never been disappointed.
