Thank you Beanhunter for introducing me to this little gem of a cafe. Beautiful magic, followed by a tasty breakfast, completed with a delicious piccolo. Happy customer all round.
Exceptional coffee. I tried their Kenyan Tegu AB (washed) in a long black and it was delicious. Well-balanced, medium-bodied cup with a sweet caramel finish. An easy 9/10.
The service was ok, but we found our server to be quite abrasive and impatient. That was the letdown of the experience. Also, their salt and pepper is served in open bowls where you have to use your fingers to season your food (an OH&S nightmare).
It is worth mentioning though that the food was of an incredibly high standard, the open space was very welcoming and my overall experience here was pretty good.
Cool idea. Coffee was good. But overall nothing too wonderful about the whole experience.
