Out of all of the cafes in the top ten list of Melbourne I can honestly say that no other has left me with a better first impression. My latte was silky smooth with a natural sweetness - the best I've had. Keep up the good work LB2; at this rate you'll become the go-to cafe in the city in no time. I will be returning as soon as I can.

I've been in here previously, a couple of years ago before I became a beanhunter, and I remember they made a nice latte but the place was cramped. This time I could appreciate all this place has on offer: friendly staff, nice eats, interior decor featuring piles of portafilters, all the coffee options from La Maz espresso machine to pour over and syphon. Sure it's still small but choose your time carefully and you'll get a seat.

I ordered my first ever syphon coffee and it was well worth the wait. I don't normally drink black coffee other than ristretto but this was delicious and served with a glass of sparkling Hepburn mineral water. I even got to sample some cold drip brew which I could see myself getting into this summer. Highly recommended.
