Stopped in to the Auction Rooms whilst down in Melbourne. Place was busy however seeing as I was in my own they found me a place to sit very quickly. Ordered a latte whilst I looked over the menu. The place has a good vibe and it was certainly alive. My latte was well presented however I found the flavour lacking. It was more like lightly flavoured milk rather than a coffee. Nothing particularly jumped out at me. Thought I'd see what the coffee was like as an espresso as well. It was a nice shot of coffee. Nicely balanced acidity and body. There was no bitterness and it was smooth. It had pleasant stone fruit finish. Shame I could not get the same coming through the milk. Overall a very pleasant experience with very attentive and friendly staff. I'd be back.

That atmosphere and music is the only redeeming feature and consequently will give it a second chance. Otherwise - special chilli eggs were nothing special - very bland. The coffee was just ok and staff seemed really disinterested unless you were a regular who they treated like family.

Lovely place with a story involving a great Aunty named Nabiha. Middle Eastern food with a twist. Brewing Five Senses coffee, an sure winner with the Baronesses.
