In Tassie for short holiday with the family. Nice to be out of Sydney... though it's hot and sunny up there and cold, windy wintery here. I'll stop as it really is nice to be here. Had read and heard many good things about Pilgrim and my experience lived up to all expectations. Enjoyed 2... Read more
Helpfully open early Sunday morning in sleepy Hobart Town to get our caffeine fix. Beautiful freshly baked muffins.

Groovy cafe with a great feel. Service was ok - food was amazing. Coffee smooth and polite. Would go back again when I return to hobart
Great cosy restaurant. Had the hipster breakfast which was delicious. Coffee was enjoyable... Probably one of the better places for coffee in hobart. Don't think we would've found it if the owner at kudos in launceston hadn't of recommended it.
MAN. This place. Wow. The building and fit out are incredible. 2 Espressos hit the spot. I'd go the seasonal house blend for its beautiful balance. Coffee is different in theme to the other cafes around Hobart. Nerd-dom reigns and I loved it. I only wish I knew more, it's inspiring. Food?... Read more
Thanks to Beanhunter we didn't have to trawl Hobart to find good coffee. We went to Pilgrim for brekkie and the Bircher muesli in a cup suitable for taking away was delicious. Tempting sit-down menu also. Historic building.

Best coffee in Hobart! If they consistently make it that good, I'd be a regular.
Great coffee if a little small
Thanks to Beanhunter I found this amazing cafe. Thinking I'd never find anything in Hobart to match the great coffee we get in Melbourne, I was wrong! Pilgrim is fantastic. They understand coffee, every cup comes out perfectly and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you Will, I wish you... Read more
Yea, really solid coffee while down here on business. Lovely little place with good service and rich, punchy coffee.
First reviewed 12 months ago have they changed coffee ? Was a very light roast that struggled with milk . Still looks good and they have a new extension withies seating
Excellent, nice single origin coffee and lovely food with local fresh produce
Much improvement since my last visit. Only negative is that my sister's chai was too weak. My latte and hubby's long black we're great.
Fantastic coffee, fantastic people, my only criticism - they closed over the Easter break!!
Beautiful coffee. My wife rarely finishes her coffee but she had the entire cup and was really happy.
Pork belly sandwich was very tasty and so were the muffins that we had.
Best part is that they are OPEN ON SUNDAYS!
Best coffee in Hobart.
Great coffee in a cool setting. The service was excellent.
Nice vibe, friendly staff and coffee good
An absolute gem. This cafe has great character. The owners are welcoming and clearly know their regulars. The short macchiato was the perfect length with just the right amount of steamed milk to stain. No bitterness, just smooth. The prestigious 3rd place price in the 2011 Barista championships is... I like the concept but very overhyped and very over priced. Coffee was standard. Better options nearby
Been looking forward to trying out this place. Visiting from Sydney, did not disappoint. Coffee was extracted well and smooth strong character. Definitely worth a visit for your coffee fix when in Hobart.
Nice mellow single origin, complemented by some tasty Bircher muesli. Great way to start the day
Always good coffee, great staff, friendly. Best coffee in Hobart.
Great spot for coffee! Well brewed, nice people, know their product
Was looking forward to trying out Pilgrim on a recent trip home and was not disappointed - excellent coffee and very cool place to hang out!
Service was great, had an ok single origin, but a bit too sour for my pallet.
Cold Drip, clever coffee dripper
Axil, st ali, market lane, proud marys, auction rooms
