The first fw was close to perfect, close to perfect strength and temp, the second slightly more acid and hotter but fortunately not taken too far. I can happily recommend this place to any coffee lover who will come out with a smile on their face. Walking distance to another great coffee shop but... Read more

Good coffee. Cappuccino served how it should be without the chocolate on top.

Cool place but coffee blend very bitter and not to my personal taste.

Delightful coffee and good service. We enjoyed quality French toast cooked perfectly!
It isn't the warmest and most inviting of Hobarts coffee destination, but if it's quality coffee you're after its worth the trip!

Me and my friend just had a latte and flat white today. The place looks great, very hi-tech ordering system, looks really professional but unfortunately the coffee was bitter and tastes burnt. Need to have more practice on making a standard coffee.

One of the nicest set up coffee shops. The coffee is very good. All the crew are well versed with the different types of beans they use. The slow cooked eggs have the wow factor

Sorry to (slightly) buck the trend here, but after touring country Tassie for two weeks, desperate for proper espresso, then hearing about this place, my hopes for a sweet syrupy double Riz were pretty high. Seeing two empty single origin grinders at 4pm was a bummer, so I was left with the house... Read more

This place is becoming more hipster by the day they should hand out fake beards and skinny leg jeans at the door so of you aren't a hipster you can blend in . Sorry this is a coffee review , had a strong latte take away which was exactly the same as my friends cappuccino ? . I thought they were two... Read more

In Tassie for short holiday with the family. Nice to be out of Sydney... though it's hot and sunny up there and cold, windy wintery here. I'll stop as it really is nice to be here. Had read and heard many good things about Pilgrim and my experience lived up to all expectations. Enjoyed 2... Read more

Yea, really solid coffee while down here on business. Lovely little place with good service and rich, punchy coffee.

Good blacks and nice milk for latte as well. Visited for holidays and regulated daily. Definately the best in Hobart, by far!

Awesome exposed brick coffee den, with an amazing supporting menu. The fit out and lighting really sets the mood, complemented with tunes at a appropriate level - so you can still have a conversation over that coffee.
The coffee is exactly what you expect from a venue like this.

I had a really good Columbian SO doppio here. It was a dark roast but with enough character and craftsmanship to be my top pick for the Hobart CBD.

Coffee was good, nice temperature and full of flavor. Well made. Very very busy, with a take away queue out the door. Staff seemed run off their feet. Not a quiet atmosphere.

Clever mix of fittings in this recycled space, provides a good atmosphere. Really good strong latte. Will come back to try the food.

Much improvement since my last visit. Only negative is that my sister's chai was too weak. My latte and hubby's long black we're great.

Beautiful coffee. My wife rarely finishes her coffee but she had the entire cup and was really happy.

Pork belly sandwich was very tasty and so were the muffins that we had.

Best part is that they are OPEN ON SUNDAYS!

    Best coffee in Hobart.

I head down to Hobart regularly for work and initially I was a little undecided about the house blend but 3-4 coffees later I have firmed up my opinion on the quality and can give Pilgrim a solid wrap. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Good vibe.
