Great little cafe with lots of atmosphere. Interesting looking small menu but all we wanted was fruit toast and coffee. My long black could have been a little hotter but better this way than too hot and burnt. Good crema, smooth. Caps looked good and the others appeared to enjoy them. Worth a visit.
Great b'fast menu! My latte wasn't anything special.
This place is one of the top spots when it comes to the Adelaide coffee scene and a great addition to the southern area. Coffee is always well rounded and of a high quality, consistent which is hard to come by. Service is good and the food isn't bad either which always helps.
New day, new machine, new single origin, new barista...but still an excellent coffee experience. De Groots Nicaraguan single origin was akin to drinking a cup of lightly roasted chocolate covered coffee beans!
What a little jem!! Well worth the travel to this little slice of cafe heaven! Top service, great food and great coffee. Nice choice of single origins on offer and the French toast... Amazing!! Well done again!
I wrote my last review on my first visit to the Pantry. I would now say that I am with out a doubt a regular. The coffee is always great. I have not had a bad one (probably had about 25-30). Even where they are mad busy, Michael, Steph and Bree are always friendly, professional and make awesome... Read more
Great Find. Awesome Salmon Bagel and coffee spot on.
this cafe is a little slice of melbourne in adelaide. loved the service and discussing beans with the staff but surprisingly the coffee let the place down. short mac too acidic and the cap lacked any strenght or depth. will try again as this place feels too good with such bean passionate staff... Awesome location, just tucked away. Super friendly staff. Quite a decent menu selection too, just a pitty about the coffee. Flat white was fine, but just too dirty/roasty as an espresso. I'll keep coming back for the service, Steph is a legend!
1 Espresso, 1 Flat White
One of my favourites. Consistently good coffee.
1 Flat White
Excellent coffee and very friendly staff. We had a good chat about the coffee and even tried Michael's specialty espresso. Amazing! Tested the all day breakfast menu too and that was great as well.
Have visited this place a few times now for breakfast visits and there is a reason I keep coming back. Good quality coffee, although I have had a bit of trouble getting information about the beans from the barista on a couple of occasions. The food here in incredible, really delicious breakfast... Went there for breakfast with 3 adults and 2 kids. Very friendly reception- the chef recognised me from A Mother's Milk the day before. Cool retro fit out. My kids didn't know what the old wooden TV was... iPod generation! Some really great art by one of the owners. Perfectly poached eggs with... Read more
1 Ristretto, 3 Lattes, 1 Cappuccino
awesome single origin coffee! with their new lamarzocco fb80, it definetly does the beans much more justice....always worth to check this place out to soak the vibe while enjoying your coffee and awesome food & service too!..
1 Piccolo, 2 Ristrettos
Tucked away, this cafe proved a hit. Got a cap, roasty odour with a smooth somewhat strong taste ( which I prefer) without being too bitter. Will definitely be going back!
Finally - a boutique coffee house that has professional service, great atmosphere, genuine art on the walls and fresh, good food.
Coffee is the main driver here, closely followed by its in-house cake making, all day breakfasts, lunches and Degustation invitationals on occasion..cute and... Read more
2 Lattes
Today Stef served us a single origin Honduras from DeGroot Coffee in Magill and it was a trip to coffee heaven! A sweetness that hinted of ripe melons, and a delicacy that just asked you have more and more - so we did - 2 Ristrettos, 5 Lattes, 1 Piccolo and a Rabbit Pot Pie for lunch.
5 Lattes, 1 Piccolo, 2 Ristrettos
Great coffee even with The Baurns old style darker roasted beans. Fantastic food and service! Will be back!
A lovely old school setting makes it feel like you have stepped in to Nannas kitchen with out the musty smell. Greeted by friendly staff who are more than happy to serve rather than stay stuck behind there bar. A smooth dark roast with slightly bitter chocolate and nutty finish.
