    Located on a nice part of the Gold Coast, Piccolo is a place to grab a coffee and watch some waves. A great stop if you are going for a beach walk.     Hip staff, drinkable coffee, nice chew and convenient after a surf but takes too long to get served. Always chockas with Lycra, prams and retiree's

    Nice location. Coffee not that enjoyable as it was a little burnt. Didn't seem like a whole lotta love kicking around the place.

    Coffee Nice but sometimes inconsistent. Shame they don't have a better menu than pre prepared Turkish sandwiches. Mind you, they always have good avocados. Great spot so we keep returning.

    I don't understand why a place with such a prime location and obviously is very popular doesn't get more staff, provide a bit of service and serve something other than Merlo... All in all pretty average after waiting 20+ minutes for a FW.

    Great outlook and love the staff but I don't rate the coffee as highly these days since BB, NNL and Canteen arrived on the local scene.

    Best location for a coffee on the GC, great views right on the beach. Nothing wrong with the coffee...standard merlo. Long black with a side of milk...Tick!

    Can hardly move at this place on a weekend and though it not necessarily for the coffee, the atmosphere and service is great. Tick

    This is a real find for the coffee , food and the wonderful individuals who serve and create the ambience of this gem of a location. Just across the road lies the safe and reasonably wide surf beach and the SLSC is just above and around the cafe so there is always some activity on a weekend.... Read more

    Atmosphere is great, perfect position right on the beachfront, with a relaxed, beachy feel. Staff didn't seem very interested in taking my order at the counter. Can't say much about the coffee. Milk texturing is smooth, but the flavour of Merlo coffee is bland.

    Great that they serve Merlo coffee... Off to a great start there. Location is also excellent right on the beach with excellent views. Service could be better and lacks that friendly touch. Opening hours could also improve and be extended

    Great location but latte was burnt. They use Merlo beans but it had more of a poor Gloria Jeans flavor! Atmosphere and staff fine

    Great to walk here from Burleigh on a sunny Gold Coast morning. The coffee is nice as is the food and the outlook is hard to beat. It can be a bit busy, but a visit is always worthwhile.
