  The coffee really changed in this place. It used to be not bad at all but think the machine was changed and not to sure about the barrister but year.   Love the decor of vintage. It's really vintage:) but seriously now, coffee has a great taste as well as the food. Nice place to be when it's not busy, but it's always busy lol..

  Been here about 4 times now. After 4 really average burnt coffees I won't be ordering any more. Real shame as they have all the right things to make good coffee. Tried the same coffee beans at other cafes and it's beautiful.

  Food and atmosphere is second to none. Rode down and got an awesome bircher muesli, but my coffee was quite frankly (WRANK!!!). Dirty cup, bitter and undrinkable. The Mrs had a Mocha which was quite nice. Great brekky location but needs to fix its coffee!!!

  Went in with a bunch of girlfriends yesterday... Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was a little bit random for my liking, and the coffee was less than desirable. Yet another place on the Gold Coast with massive potential, but going nowhere unfortunately.

  A must visit every time I'm on the Coast. I'm surprised to see some reviewers find the coffee inconsistent, I am presented the perfect espresso each time.   I've been here once on a quiet day. The coffee was nice but wasn't amazing. I had a blonde brownie which was very nice. The staff were a little uninterested but not rude. I liked the atmosphere, and the furniture and ornaments were nice. I would come back again.

  I don't like this place much but my girlfriend absolutely loves it - always bugging me to go back... Always got plenty of people and foods real nice but the coffee is a bit questionable. But Im sure I'll wind up back here again!

  The stand out feature of vintage is it's staff. Lovely group of people who deliver consistently good service. The atmosphere in this place is also very nice, reminds me of a curious mix of Palomino and Mixed Business. Coffee is a let down though, the step away from Merlo was definitely a good one...   Was looking forward to a great coffee, paid $8.00 for 2 x double shot piccolos, takeaway. After walking down the street having a sip & just tasting milk, poppped the lid. All I could see was milk with a hint of coffee colour.
