Jugs not cleaned, shot timing not considered, grind unchecked, no real care for good clean educated coffee. Food looks great but I would question the cleanliness.
Friends invited us here for coffee. I read the previous reviews & wasn't expecting very good coffee. But thought I would keep An open mind - it wasn't bad. Decent enough, but no stand out...I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for coffee. Not when Black Coffee Lyrics is a few blocks away... Read more
Not drinkable coffee. Nice place and food not serious about coffee here
Lovely location, pretty good food and the coffee is above average. Probably one of the better options in this area but compared to other locations on the Gold Coast kind of sits around the middle of the pack for my coffee preference.
*Editing my previous review to reword some sections so that it does not appear defamatory - and is only my personal opinion.
Wow. I knew I should have checked Beanhunter first...

2 for 2 Love this place more on a weekday morning.. So chilled, relaxed and locals only, away from the hustle and bustle.. Great consistent well made coffee.. Superb food Brilliant servers and staff Best spot I've found on gc
Follow up review from 8 months ago. We went to Bumbles with 2 kids on the weekend. Food, coffee and service pretty good - bill was under $70 for lunch - worth the trip from Brisbane.
Coffee here is fine, but not overly great. The view and the sleepy fishing village vibe of Budd's Beach is what you really come down for, that and the amazing cakes. Its a shame that over the past 4-5 years the owner has been putting the prices up at a rapid rate, a fortnightly trip is now a once... Read more
I must say, given the reputation of Bumbles, I was very excited to take a break from the daily grind and go to treat myself, looking forward to something special. And if there is one thing I can say, it's that the prices were very special.
The coffee was the brand Genovese, and... Read more
Coffee is not for me.. Long black pale and nasty
It's picture perfect pretty, and located behind Surfers Paradise, such an overlooked gem. Perfect spot for a coffee and breakfast is good too.
Prices are a little pricier than most cafes, but worth checking out atleast once.

I agree with the below review. Not the best food or coffee. Sorry bumbles.

For me it is about the coffee, that's mainly why I'm writing a review about Bumbles. The coffee is always superb. There is a good menu, breakfast and lunches, which seem very popular, and I think they open for dinner one or two nights a week as well. The food I have eaten is very good but I'm a... Read more
good strong well made coffee in old school big rimmed big cups... Add Superb food... Hands down a great combo... Kicks the Shyte out of my other reviewed spots.
Had lunch at Bumbles today. Very nice setting on a quiet but picturesque outlook on the Nerang River at Budds Beach. Had an eye fillet steak sandwich followed by a good flat white and a carrot cake that was better than average. The coffee was smooth and flavoursome. I would definitely come here again.
