  Average coffee, but acceptable if better coffee shops not open. Had fruit toast which was expensive. Small slices and had the hide to give me the crust end.

  What a setting, love sitting along the high bench and watch the action. A three coffee order produced an acceptable short black but the milk based drinks had to sit until they had cooled enough to drink. Why do they do that?

  The first thing u notice # idea cafe is the very friendly service by girls and guys . Everyone operating that coffee machine is spot on with both quality and consistency , can't fault them !! Every cup is good !! It's my second home...

  Consistently great coffee. Food is good but not great. Tables are too small to sit and relax at with lunch. They provide blankets in winter which is appreciated by the cyclists who stop in for their coffee.

  I have coffee here regularly and although the red-headed lass makes the best coffee, I have never had a bad one. Nice crema, lovely nutty big coffee flavour with a very pleasant after-taste that lingers. Food is basic & inexpensive.

  Visited twice lately. I found the service fast and efficient both times. It was good to see cold water provided as soon as you are seated The coffee was great and the food priced well and yummy to eat.

  Small and almost a hole in the wall and can get a bit of a squeeze when busy but that adds to the overall atmosphere.

  On my first visit coffee was just ok but because of lovely setting I returned. Waited over 10 minutes after ordering and still did not received my coffee, When I asked a staff member (turned out to be female owner) about my order was told I was not the only customer! Needless to say I will not go back.

  After having been here quite a few times for coffee that was okay although pretty pricey, I went to have lunch there with a friend. Friend had been before and told me how great the food was. We were both dissapointed, the fillings were almost non existent and small servings. Won't be back.
