Great use of space. As the name suggests it's in a loading dock. The dynamic duo of James and Zoie provide lovely service and consistently good coffee. Can get a little chilly during winter so be sure to nab a set under one of the heaters. Oh and her muffins are the best.

Came here everyday for a few weeks when I was looking after a friend's place. The staff are hilarious (a young couple?) and coffee was bang on every time, really great flavour and a medium roast (mambo black coffee?). So good to get a mixture of enthusiasm and great coffee which is rare these days.... Read more

Best in the area. And they even do decent decaf. And the steamed buns between 1130am and 130pm - Hello.

After hearing good things about Loading Dock Espresso from my coffee-drinking amigo Kenesi, I was really looking forward to checking this place out for myself. We visited this morning (a Saturday) and things looked pretty quiet. The barista who was there all by herself advised us that they... Read more

I've been to this tiny place a few times now and I likey. Very friendly, and it has to be given the size of the place. MYO toast. Their coffee has been consistently good and my new marker of a morning cafe, the 3G reception is good. I hate sitting down to catch up on the tweet stream only to find... Read more

A cool little addition to West End. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. My double ris flat white was great - very chocolaty and smooth. Worth a visit, if you're on this side of West End.

The hidden gem of West End. Coffee is consistently smooth and delicious and service friendly. This is the kind of place I can go again and again. Definitely in my best of Brisbane.

In an area where every cafe is trying to look Bohemian and Grunge this place is very different. The furniture and fitout is made from steel pipes and chainwire fencing. Love the cool street light hanging above.
The coffee is absolutely amazing, the blend Mambo Black is very smooth and my... Read more

Awesome hole in the wall. Literally. The coffee was well made. Had a piccolo and it was full of flavor, and no hint of a bad extraction. They use Maleny Milk, which I love.Really friendly baristas too. But the place is a strange basic, layout with a gallery up behind it, hard to figure out but the... Read more

What a great little gem. Solid coffee after several visits. Good beans, competent baristas. A small smattering of nibblies, but not a full lunch offering. However, if you want a truly heart-warming experience, try a lovely mocha with the dark chocolate jaffa muffin... deliciously decadent.

Just found this place through facebook. Went and had a coffee this week and it was great! REally cool vibe. Great baristas and really busy on weekday mornings! I had a piccolo (their sign said to try a piccolo so i did) and it was really sweet and smooth and balanced. Wasn't really strong like... Read more
