This cafe is now closed.
I've been here three or four times now since arriving back in Australia 12 months ago, and I have to say that I'm somewhat disappointed. The coffee is still very good (although I've had significant fluctuations), but the service has significantly dropped. I really love this place, but just hope... Read more
This is one of my favourite cafes in Brisbane. They serve some of the best coffee in West End and Brisbane.
Well, it's been a while since I was at West End and I certainly made sure that when I was....I was heading for Cup to get a coffee. I was out of beans too...so it was perfect timing. Only 15 minutes before closing time and the guys were absolutely happy to make more coffees. Grabbed my self... Read more
2 Flat Whites
One of the best in Brisbane. It's been a while since I've been here, and there has been time big changes; the addition of the 1+1 to the menu is brilliant. Pretty standard menu items, except for the trout. The French toast with strawberry's, blood orange, and mascarpone was very nice along with the... Read more
Man it was a hot day when we visited. Too hot for coffee really. Service was quick and coffees came out pretty quick. Piccolo was good. Can't remember if it was single origin or not.
Best coffee I've found in West End. Hands down.
Single origin espresso - Santa Rita, Columbia. Flat white - house blend. Both came out perfect. Poached eggs were good too. Sweet vibe and nice wall art. With 150 positive reviews you can see this is an established spot for top coffee
Ok I must say I still love their coffee but today I had a coffee and my partner had hot chocolate. The coffee was good but the hot chocolate was terrible!!!! Seriously with such a shop as they have they should be able to make a decent hot chocolate. Will not be back for a hot chocolate but still... Read more
This is my 3rd cup experience. Today the coffee was somewhat burnt but otherwise ok. Like the atmos and food; just seems that sometimes the barista is not as good as you'd hope.
Really like this place, must go place whenever i'm in Brisbane.
This place is a converted garage. Had a funky, Grungy feel. My flat white was excellent- house blend impressive. Full flavoured without the bitterness. Ordered a second cup which is rare for me. This time the single origin. A little more acidic but again, not bitter. Not a great choice of food,... Read more
I turned up here 3 weeks ago after seeing some good reviews and to be honest I was blown away. Amazing flavour, coffee, texture, food was high quality....and all this 15 minutes from home. I came back 2 days later and thought same. Since then my experience has been somewhat wanting. The last 2-3... Read more
3 Flat Whites
Have had a couple of amazing flat whites and piccolos here in the last week or so. Cup continues to amaze with great coffee.
2 Piccolos, 2 Flat Whites
Atmosphere great. Staff friendly and welcoming. Coffee great. Best I've had in the West End strip
Everyone in the biz seems to talk about it so I had to visit......don't know if I should have (sorry guys). It is obvious that this is a serious coffee house just check out the roaster but you have to get over the coffee geek stuff and serve up coffee for the punters. I love my coffee and that... Read more
I really enjoyed today's visit to Cup. My espresso of their five star blend was great, although I didn't feel as though it was as good as a flat white, even with a double ristretto, still - great coffee - and you can tell these guys are passionate about what they do. The service today was... Read more

Great coffee with pictures of giant robots - who could ask for more!
Nice caramel crema and rich, fully extracted coffee. Milk could have been a bit smoother/silkier but I'm not too bothered.
Great breakfast to boot!
Whoa! Is this a flat white? It barely resembles others in Brisbane. Full of flavour and delicious - I'm glad I wheeled in here on a whim last week. Came back today to find it slightly renovated but still serving those coffees of splendor. Had a generous avo toast as well. Served and run by... Read more
Excellent iced latter & short machiatto. Laid back atmosphere. Good food at sensible prices
3 Cold Drips, 1 Short Macchiato
Just had an Aero of Ethiopia Natural Guji. Don't typically post about one drink but this deserves it. It smelt like chicken korma! The flavour was very earthy, forest floor, spice (cloves? chili?) and, once it cooled, chicken soup!
The most unique tasting coffee I've ever had.
Cup Specialty Coffee is brand new cafe roastery located in the heart of West End. Cup is the brainchild of Josh Russell who is a part of a wave of new up and coming roasters in Brisbane. The cafe has a bright modern vibe and very friendly staff who are obsessed with high quality espresso. Cup is... Read more
Updated review: smooth, sweet brilliance.
Everything about this place is flipping amazing!
Have frequented this awesome coffee house over the past 6 months and have NOT yet been disappointed! I'm yet to have a bad coffee; every one I've ordered has been served up perfect! I've also purchased several kg's of freshly roasted beans for home use and each batch has been spot-on! I'll order... Read more
