  Great (black star) coffee, and their toast (avo, Spanish, sweet or ricotta/honey) is the perfect start to your day. One of the few places you can go in Brisbane and feel fine to stay for hours.

  yep, really like it even though it took a little bit to feel comfy. But once i was, we stayed for hours and ordered a few serves of tasty toast and good coffee. The first coffees were ok, the second were much better. Interesting place and just is what it is - if you don't like it don't go there.... Read more

  I really love this place. Simplicity and essence. They don't go for frills, they play to their strengths, great coffee and great toast.

  Had one of the dirtiest, overextracted, roasty tasting coffees here. Felt like staff and regulars were watching my every move, might have been too clean cut for the surroundings..."bohemian" is very much the P.C term for how the place and staff present themselves.

  This is a great cafe - really lovely coffee- no sign out the front, very grungy, reminds me of Melbourne.

  Great place. Is not trying to be anything but what it is. Great coffee. Great toast. Go there if it is where you want to be & you're not in a hurry. My favourite snug crevice to get a coffee in Brisbane.
