Hang on there, Larderettes! I have issues following my last visit.
I'm not a regular, but have been. I hold your mince on toast fondly in my memory and I pop by occasionally for a morning coffee with a colleague. My last couple of trips I've detected a change in the atmosphere - a... Read more
1 Skinny Flat White, 1 Skinny Latte
This is my and my husband's first option if we ever have a free morning for breakfast or brunch and we don't even live nearby. Their breakfasts are my fav - ingredients so fresh, large servings and great prices. Easy parking and very friendly staff too. If I lived in New Farm, I would be there too much!
Always a nice place to stop on Moray Street. The always have great specials on their menu so the food is worth a try. The coffee is well done and you can see why people spend time there.
Good spot to drop into for a consistent coffee. Not the best but is well made. The staff are great as is the food. Classically New Farm & great village feel. Not too serious & very relaxed. Can get busy but this is due to popularity.
1 Skinny Piccolo, 1 Skinny Short Macchiato
Nice little suburban caf, tables and chairs need update. Food not bad, coffee fair to good. Nice atmosphere, keen staff good service.
One of the best breakfast menus going around but the coffee leaves allot to be desired. The last few visits have been very ordinary. Basically an instant coffee with froth on top. Go for the food but forget it if you need a decent coffee. Great atmosphere but there are better spots near by with... Read more
2 Flat Whites, 1 Latte
Good New Farm cafe with great food and reliable coffee. While the bean is not my favourite they know how to put a latte together consistently. Not the best in Brisbane but certainly solid and worth visiting.... Service can sometimes make you feel as if you need to rush....
Excellent breakfast menu, serving di Bella Novello blend. Decent coffee from the elektra. Good place to grab a takeaway coffee on a walk or stop for brekky. Gets busy but staff are efficient.
The place is over-rated and the seating is uncomfortable. Breakfast is ok and the staff are attentive and friendly - if a little loving themselves. The coffee is the deal breaker. You can do better - and they can find better if they want to.
Again, why so serious?! Chill out ppl, nice spot great for bike riders. Food consistent, coffee above average, not expensive. Small venue, people have complained about the seats, c'mon it's New Farm...Spoon is worse and more expensive and it's counter service?
I go there regularly and the coffee is always superb. Definitely up there with the top coffee shops in Brisbane. Always busy.
Now this place invented the word trendy, I love a cafe that has a heartbeat. Not only does it play normal young persons music, the staff seem like they could work there for free and still be happy. I could see myself returning for the atmosphere but unfortunately 3 out of the 3 coffee's I drank was... Read more
I had breakfast here this morning for the first time in ages. Coffee was delicious and the savory mince on toast very tasty, all be it a bit too juicy. This a great local cafe with a lovely feel and quirky decor. I used to live across the road and wish this place had been here then.
