Been here quite a few times and the food is fantastic.
Coffee is usually good enough to drink but today I couldn't help but over hear a gentleman complaining about the coffee being too bitter.
He gave them another chance and ordered another coffee yet again with the same results. I'm... Read more
1 Short Macchiato
After just visiting Au Cirque in New Farm again (for about the 500th time), I thought it would be a good opportunity to update my review on Beanhunter. It’s not that anything I said in my previous review has changed significantly – I still feel that this is the ultimate brunch destination in... Read more
Weekday Breakfast - terrific meal. Coffee excellent (Genovese beans) well made. Definitely be back here, although I'd imagine on a weekend it would be challenging (limited parking and super cosy table arrangement)
Not really sure why this cafe has such a great rating. My flat white was slightly over extracted but had a reasonably good milk texture. Genovese coffee so nothing special. Probably not worth travelling for, but it was nice sitting out the front on the street and the breakfast was pretty good.
1 Flat White
Damn I love this place. The service is amazing. The food is sensations. The coffee is dramatic; bursting with flavor and itching to complement the fine all day breakfast or lunch food you have chosen to enjoy.
AFTER READING SOME GOOD REVIEW, DICIDE TO GO THIS MORNING. SUNDAY MORNING AROUND 10:30, IN LINE TO WAIT FOR TABLE WITH ABOUT 3 OTHER GROUP. NOT TO BAD, 10 MINS WAIT.
WE ORDER TWO MEAL FROM BREAKFAST MENU , IT WAS GOOD BUT I CAN FIND BETTER IN WEST END, STONE CORNER OR WOOLOOGABBA.
Piccolo was nicely clean cut. Not a very robust flavour though. Inside seating needs to remove the framed wall trimming: very awkward to lean against and uncomfortable. Too small for my liking.
Walking into this place instantly reminded us of our favourite cafe in New York, 'Petite Abeille.' Great atmosphere, lovely decor. The coffee was well made, certainly not burnt or bitter, but just not to our taste. The breakfast however was amazing. Fresh, organic ingredients, creative menu with... Read more
Loved everything about this place... And importantly the coffee was deliciously creamy and strong!
Great spot for a leisurely weekday brunch. The service is always lovely, they are even welcoming to my Destructor toddler (we take our own clip on high chair to try to keep her in check).
I love Genovese coffee and have never had a bad one here. Perfect heat, lovely textured milk... Read more
5 Soy Lattes, 1 Long Black
Fantastic coffee and a brilliant menu to choose from. This place has a good mix of both. The coffee was smooth, great texture and each cup was very consistant. Atmosphere was fantastic both in and outside. Can get a little busy if you don't get in early enough but well worth the wait.
2 Flat Whites, 2 Lattes
Consistently awesome. My wife and I frequent Au Cirque for breakfast on Saturdays, for which we have to wait. But it's never for too long and always worth it. Genovese coffee is the staple and is always perfect. The menu is varied and the food is really good. My favourite is the French Toast with... Read more
Fantastic coffee and breakfast. Can't go wrong - Love it.
Amazing! I visited this place upon recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Had to wait for a table, but was served an exceptional coffee while we waited. Very friendly and chilled out staff. Breakfast was incredible followed by another smooth latte. Will be sure to visit again.
Always a really good quality coffee although often under the pump and sometimes it shows. Menu changes regularly which I like
Three story cafe with an almost Melbournian style groove. Coffee was a deliciously smooth latte, quickly on table with a smile. Great menu including some great specials. All round a decent little setup and friendly atmosphere.
One word. AMAZING.
Went to au cirque with some work friends for lunch today - great service as always and their genovese coffee is tops! always fantastic service and its great that they are open Mondays when so many other cafe's are closed!
The lunch menu prices here are exorbitant - perhaps a bigger cake (or cheese) selection would make me merrier.
One of my top places for coffee in Brisbane, and good, interesting food.
After living in New Farm for quite a few years, I came to know Au Cirque very well.
You normally expect good cafes to lose something when new owners take over - thankfully the exact opposite is true of Au Cirque. Owners Christophe & Giselle took over in 2009. To their credit, they... Read more
