  The coffee here has deteriorated badly following a change of staff. Good baristas are worth their weight in beans.

  Milton's does a roaring trade, particularly in the mornings before 9 (expect a 10-30 minute wait for your order), but all their customers must be delusional. Baked goods are acceptable, and some of their meals appear tasty, but the coffee is consistently awful.

  Following a highly scientific survey of coffee houses within a walkable distance of my new job I settled on Milton's for my daily lunchtime brew. I have yet to have a disappointing cup. A little busy early morning (a cycling crowd favourite) and lunchtime the wait is worth it. They serve Piazza d'Oro.
