Haven't been here for years. Seems a bit fresher looking. Long Black was very good. Water temp too hot and was served in a mug (thought they only did that at Starbucks;-)

From the outside, you get the feeling The Coffee Laboratory was a local store and in some respects, you still do … it is however, more of a ‘hidden Brisbane coffee gem’, as Mug Shots tweeted. Inside the treasure appears, there is an amazing array of historic paraphernalia … you can... Read more

Wasn't expecting much from the outside, but inside it is a gem! Had a great Indian monsoon piccolo. Going to come back here soon!
Troy is a lovely guy and does a great job. Happy to have a chat and talk about coffee, the roasting process, and loves showing off his big old French roaster! Great espresso on his monsooned malabar.
Good coffee. Shiny things to look at ;)

Great atmosphere - very surprising given it's location in a light industrial precinct and a very plain shop front.
These guys are about as passionate about coffee as I've come across in Brisbane and it shows in the product.
A coffee oasis in an industrial precinct. Staff friendly and take their beans seriously.
