I’ve been back to Kangaroo Point favourite Puk Espresso a couple of times recently, and there have been some significant changes – enough to warrant a follow-up review.
Owners Brad and Antonia have been busy tweaking things during the last few months, and it really shows. The... Read more
Wonderful little shady oasis with the undulating hum of cars passing busily overhead on the Story Bridge. Great coffee but only takeaway cups at this stage. Will be back.
very nice coffee... will definately visit again.
Consistant brilliant Latte and lovely little treats (many gluten free and still yummy).

Mmmm yummy coffee and great food, it's a lovely spot under a great big tree
Puk has a relaxed, quirky style. They serve a self-titled blend called Puk Signature. It comprises 4 equal parts of beans from across the globe, including beans from the Green Cauldron, Byron Bay. The pleasant person who served us told us that her brother grows the coffee beans for the blend at... Read more

I grab a coffee from Puk five mornings a week after a work out at the boxing gym across the road. This little hidden gem won't stay that way forever, it's too good for the KP fitness groups not to find sooner or later!
Coffee is such a unique local byron blend which is always made... Read more

Awesome coffee. . these guys rock! - Fruity house blend with smooth earthy balance. - Excellent byron bay green cauldron single origin. - Really cool location under the storey bridge and a big fig tree. - super consistent - never had a bad coffee. Thanks brad and Antonia! ;-)
Haha, love the banter about the barista!! He can certainly be a bit monotone - unlike his lairy shirt selection;) Can't complain about the food or coffee though. Was very impressed on this visit by their new house blend done by Green Cauldron out of Byron Bay.

This charming coffee nook is a hidden gem. Every morning I'm brewed an amazing black star flat white (always spot on) and the guys behind the coffee machine make an effort to learn their customers names. Genuine care and interest is taken in building a rapport and I leave feeling lifted! Puk is... Read more

Another good coffee sullied by grumpy staff. It's a nice setup just a hole in the wall with a few seats under the tree. coffee was good, well made but the barista was indignant, perhaps because his conversation was interrupted.
Great coffee, personal service, and character-filled atmosphere. Highly recommended for serious coffee lovers.
I frequently visit Puk Espresso in Kangaroo Point and am always impressed with the delicious coffee and fantastic service. It's the type of cafe you can stop by daily and never receive a bad cup.

Quaint and friendly, this little gem hides beneath the age old fig tree in Kangaroo Point. But not even the giant fig can cast a shadow over the beaming smiles of Antonia as she takes your order, and the delightful aroma of Byron grown beans gently awakening the hoards of loyal locals, looking for... I work in the area and get my coffee daily from Puk. The coffee is exceptional - silky smooth with an awesome chocolate kick. The location is superb, set under a beautiful fig tree. Puk offers a great range of sweets - with their banana bread to die for !! They've just recently revamped the lunch... Read more

The coffee here is top notch. Really thankful there is a decent place now available to the locals here in kangaroo Point. Good people, good service, surprisingly good food options. Ive had breakfast and lunch there, its a really great spot.

I go there sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. The coffee is really good, and so is the setting, and they have some yummy treats! The Service is not so good, I assume its owned by a couple, and although the girl seems mainly nice, the guy seems a little unfriendly, sometimes rude, I could even say I... Read more

Great spot to pull in on a sunny Bris-Vegas day.
Tasty sweets and more substantial bites available. There is well balanced coffee with enough there to keep me coming back for more.
Best of all is being to relax under the majestic old fig and watch the river from afar.... Read more
Fantastic coffee, shady courtyard, 'community feel' with people who remember your name and your order - what more could you want? Love the arty feel and wouldn't go anywhere else for my morning coffee.
Puk......an oasis in the caffeine desert of Kangaroo Point. Genuinely fantastic coffee, from what I have been told a unique blend specifically designed for Puk and its friends. Deliciously sweet treats and the recent introduction of lunch time delights is a life saver. Love it.

I would personally call the barista 'dry witted', quite hilarious in my experience. Perfectly eccentric for a lil' hole in the wall cafe (he makes ridiculously delicious coffee too I might add).
Coffee silkier than satin sheets and awesome chai. Plus it's ALWAYS great, which is something you don't get often at a coffee shop. The service isn't your usual shudder inducing over-friendly fakers, but a genuine guy who cares about coffee. Just don't ask for decaf.

Similar to an above review, great coffee, great food and a lovely spot but spoiled by a rude staff member.
