  If you want to charge $3.50 for an espresso get it right. The coffee seemed to be well made but it was served in a large (for an espresso) shallow cup that did it no justice.   Have to say I agree with BrisCoffeeMan's issues re glassware here. Always too big, buggers the milk to coffee ratio. The coffee is a bit hit and miss and so is the food. It's a great blend when made well. Service is friendly but things can get a bit sloppy when they are busy.

  The coffee was OK, shame about the food. Ordered fried eggs on toast, got florentine eggs benedict, and we're still not sure that the wait staff actually understood the problem.

  I have been a regular at treacle since it has opened. It is a wonderful place with fantastic organic coffee from nimbin. There is only one choice of roast but that is all you need.
