Love it. Hidden away but well worth looking for. Delicious coffee and very smooth milk.

Coffee is served with a smile at Frisky Goat. The quality is almost always consistent. A good aroma, very flavoursome, well-balanced, very much enjoyable. The baristas know what they are doing and happy to chat to you if you are not sure what you should order. The atmosphere is not wonderful as it... Read more

Was very sceptical after all the very highly rated reviews (by people with 1 review), but it is actually very good! Although it is squeezed into the lobby of a building, it has a great atmosphere and the guys are really friendly. My short macchiato was superb - beautiful deep and dark extraction.... Read more

Forget everything you thought you knew about the Sweet Cocoa blend from Supreme Roasters. Thanks to some recent tweaks and (I’m hoping) a substantial stockpile of some truly amazing beans, I’m confident this is currently one of the best tasting blends you will find anywhere in Brisbane right... I had a skinny flat white at this very interesting cafe. The coffee was called Sweet Coco and comes from Supreme Roaster at Yatala. The coffee is a combination of beans from PNG, Honduras, Guatemala, Zambian and Colombian. It was a beautiful coffee that had a slight hint of caramel and a light coco... Read more

Frisky Goat Espresso is an inner city coffee shop on George Street that we have walked passed time and again on the way to and from meetings. A Twitter tip from a keen coffee follower and a recent change of owner prompted our visit. We were delighted to see Supreme Roasters umbrellas outside... Read more

    Super fast and super good!

I see why these guys have developed such a reputation! It's one of those coffee shops you tell is going to be good when the aroma of fine coffee envelopes you as you cross the threshold. The next sign is the beautiful rich caramel in the shots they are... Read more

I popped in this morning for a quick long black, really well made and the staff know what they're doing. They always have a selection of some sort of single origin and the house blend, both worth a try. Really busy with office workers during the week though, so not really a place to sit down and... It's a hole in the wall with a focus on two things: excellent coffee and friendly service.

The owner (Joel) has taken an effort to continue improving on the quality of the coffee, and it really shows.

The last few double ristretto piccolos I have had have been 9-10/10.... Read more

What a place. As you walk into the place a smile immediately crosses your face. Installed in the lobby of a heritage brisbane building, replete with vaulted windows and an inlayed floor, you get a slight hint of stepping back into a Victorian London. When you come across the crazy, bespectacled... Read more

OK I’ve been to most of the “good” espresso bars in the Brisbane CBD, obviously when some of them aren’t very good at all, and still attract a following. I wanted a coffee after lunch today, and the only place close by was Frisky Goat. A friend had told me they make a terrible hot... Read more

Had a short macchiato on the single origin on offer. It was wonderful. The small size of the place and limited tables meant there was a lot of people standing around waiting for takeaways but the brisk business did not detract from the quality of the coffee and the service.

I love this place. Friendly staff that know what they are doing, always a nice s/o on offer, right next to my bus stop .. What more can you ask for? One of the favorites in the CBD.

I'll pay the hype for the coffee as my espresso was amazing. The service was good, but the atmosphere was all you can expect for a lobby espresso bar. Definitely worth a visit if you're on this side of the city.

This place clearly has a large following with the majority being walk up take away customers. Their blend has a nutty undertone with a crisp acidity. If you prefer your coffee with milk, I'd recommend a stronger dose. Not up to the hype I've read.

Tasty coffee. Been here countless times over the last couple of years and usually receive an outstanding brew. They have there off days as every single cafe does but they are few and far between.

Their houseblend is very good- rich caramels with a nice nuttiness. Good selection of... Read more

The first couple of coffees I had from this place were flawless. The art so perfect it took me a while before I could take my first sip and ruin it. Boasting of my fantastic discovery I took a colleague there during 'rush hour', only to be served up a pretty average cup. It's a real disappointment... Read more

These guys use their own blend....anyone going out of their way to not use generic beans should be commended! Nice smooth cappuccino with a nice nutty taste. Perhaps not strong enough though. Older and quaint atmosphere.
