Finally a barista in Brisbane who knows what a Caffe Lungo is. It was great but my follow up coffee which was a double shot flatty lacked the body and strength I was hoping for. I have only just discovered this place. Truly great coffee, a unique outlook on Caxton street, lovely during the day ... evenings are really nice - good music, coffee and a bar. They are bringing in Argentine foods now. I'll keep trying this place to see how it evolves.
Cartel is now under new management and have changed coffee suppliers. They now serve a good cup of Campos. Cartel are also now offering live music. Every Thursday night at about 8pm, they host an open mic night. Id recommend you check it out!
The changes of management have resulted in changes in opening hours. They closed at lunchtimes but promised to open "next week" for months.
