Once again perfection.
Nice setout. Had a piccolo and a takeaway 8ounce. Both were well made coffees. Latte was great temp and velvety. Shot cut through milk nicely.
This a great little place. Only discovered it a few weeks ago and have frequented it ever since. Love the fact they use real chocolate in the Cappuccino as opposed to the powder! Friendly staff too.
Superb, coffee is among the best in Brisbane and the atmosphere is wonderful
This place is fabulous. The coffee is absolutely superb, and the setting awesome. Lots of different seating, very comfortable, and a cool environment. It is easily the place I could whip out my laptop, order a coffee (and keep them coming), and work all day! If you want coffee whilst in the... Read more
I love the design and the spaciousness and the comfortable feel about this place. It reminds me of the best cafes I have ever been to. If I worked near by I would go there regularly without a doubt. I felt at home there. I felt as though I could read the paper on one of their lovely tables out the... Read more
This is easily one of Brisbane's best cafes. Brother Espresso has done it perfectly. The staff are friendly and the service is low key and relaxed which compliments the atmosphere. This cafe roast their own beans and they taste amazing. The coffee is creamy and you could live off it! This cafe... Read more
Great atmosphere and great coffee
1 Long Black, 1 Piccolo
Disappointing, no single origins just one blend available, seems to be more of a place to eat food than to experience coffee.
It seems like all the good cafes are all tucked away in the little side streets where you just literally have to stumble across them! Well this hidden joy is amongst the large skyscrapers of Brisbane city and offers great coffee, juices, sandwiches, and a small selection of hot foods. As you enter... Read more
Pleasantly surprised. I've had some very bad coffee from the Bulimba Brother Espresso cafe and an 'ok' one from their roastery. Really glad I tried this place today. We were served quickly and the coffee was very nice. 8oz latte, not too hot, not too cold, smoothly textured milk, good crema, and a... Read more
Cool staff, good coffee, nice shiny ECM, fresh beats, funky bikes Do it
Travelled all the way from Melbourne walked all the way from Central station in the rain to have some coffee and food from this place that was so much talked about at home.....so worth it. Staff were lovely coffee very smooth and food was nice. Def come back when I'm visiting Brisbane again.
Awesome cafe tucked away in Margaret Street. Consistently excellent coffee, really friendly staff, great service... what else could you ask for! Haven't been for a while but now the boys are roasting their own coffee taking the experience to the next level!
Have heard great things about Brother Espresso, but unfortunately the day i visited they were having an off day. Coffee was boiling hot, and had no creaminess to it. Had a toasted sandwich and ended up with 2 pieces of toast with cheese in the middle. Really liked the layout and art. Good vibe... Read more
My wife and I dropped in here while cruising the city last week. We were more than pleasantly surprised! The coffee (flat white and latte) was excellent, great house blend and silky smooth. We also had a lemon tart, which was delicious. Highly recommended! I will be visiting again!
1 Flat White, 1 Latte
Espresso: rich, smooth and oily (in a good way). Understated roasty/nutty nose, soft non-acidic finish. Very few places pull shots as good as this.
Quality falls off a bit when they are slammed during the 10am rush but at slower times this is perfection in coffee.
Excellent rust retro and "chocolate velvet" tart to die for. Need to work on their service tho....
have only ever heard great things about this place, but my experience didnt live up to expectations. service was incredibly poor, a too cool for school attitude coming from a lackluster barister, how disappointing! will not return!
I have been much awaiting to visit the coffee shop after hearing my friends rave about it for months. I finally made the walk to the shop quitely nestled in the street. The coffee was very good, however it was just slightly too hot for me to drink it straight away. The shop is big and can accommodate seating.
Great coffee and excellent vibe. Would recommend.
My daily coffee. Amazing coffee, offering a delicious blend and a rotating single origin bean. Spot on every time. Incredible service. Amazing atmosphere.
I've reviewed Brother before, I had been quite impressed on other visits as far as coffee is concerned, but saying that there has been a few times now where I have been left feeling disappointed. This has prompted me to re-evaluate my prior review and post another.
I have worked in... Read more
1 Latte, 1 Flat White
Went to brother on wednesday morning. Ordered a piccolo and an espresso. The piccolo was well made however it took a while to come out and was hotter than I prefer. The espresso came more promptly, it was the seasonal blend and quite tasty. The staff were competant. They weren't the most... Read more
1 Piccolo, 1 Espresso
The red head barrista is fantastic (made the best coffee I\'ve ever had when he was working somewhere else). The coffee is sometimes a 10, with rich caramel and chocolate flavours. Occassionally it\'ll be a bit watery, but fairly consistent these days.
The atmosphere is excellent. Lots... Read more
