What a find!! Great coffee great place!
It was my wife who excitedly revealed to me that Generations had opened near our house. It sounded good, a little too good for Sandgate maybe?
Traditionally a desert for coffee, this place is the kind of establishment the area needs.

For me kitsch and coffee don't mix. If I wanted to have a coffee at my Nan's, I'd drop in on her. Coffee tasted bland and quite weak and stale. Worth seeking out somewhere else.

I took one look at the Gateway motorway on the way to work and knew exactly what I should do. To Generations I went. Turns out I had time to sit and enjoy my coffee before work as Donna had already started on them. For this coffee nut, there's no better option for miles.

This is a gem of a find. Staff were genuinely friendly and the place is decked out beautifully, so homely and welcoming. It's a shame they don't do meals but the cakes look great, although we didnt sample this time around. Most importantly though the coffee is amazing... perfect strength and temp.... Read more

Friendly service consistent coffee good stop compared to others in area, pleasant surprise

I now can't taste your coffee as all my tastebuds are singed. Good food though from a local supplier n quaint decor. I... Read more

My favourite little haunt in sleepy Brighton. Amazing how quickly the mums & dads with bubs discovered it and for good reason; great coffee, excellent service, kid-friendly atmosphere, cool retro vibes. What more does one want out of life, really? (did I mention they do great coffee!) :)

I am sitting here sipping on a sublime coffee, in a cute coffee shop called Generations. The service is wonderful and you get a true sense of the brighton community as people come in and out.
There is an atmosphere that has simply been absent in the area since I lived here over the... Read more

been three times so far and the coffee has always been good, best in the area infact plus the kids always get free drinks which is a bonus. cakes are also good but could so with a bigger selection.
It's about time someone opened a comfortable, relaxed espresso bar in Sandgate/Brighton. The ladies that served us were excited and keen to please on their first day of business.
Generations is thoughtfully decorated in a retro style, and the furniture installed is really lovely to... Read more
