  This part of Ashgrove has been home to a few cafes over the years. Sotilles is a great addition to the mix.

  Didn't have high hopes - just didn't look like a place to get good espresso but delighted to be proven wrong - had many great short and long mac's here and the food is great too. Nice back terrace, you forget you're on a main road. Top marks!

  Regular barista not here - long black looking like a Nescafe - not good. New server does not seem well trained.

  A new addition to my neighborhood and quite a surprise. Well made coffee and tasty snacks; pleasant fit-out (which will improve with a bit of wear!) and a nice Italian feel. Very unusual for suburban Ashgrove. Downside was very slow service.

  Really nice fit out and pleasant prompt service.. Had a steak burger that was alright and a short black that was a little under extracted.

  Another cracking Long Black - fine but thick crema that survives to the bottom of the cup. Hang on to your barrista Sotilles!

  One of the best extractions around - beautifully made coffee. Jury's out on the Moak brand - a mild fruity blend if not a little mocca'y.
