so they settled with a la Marzocco so far so good though coffee much improved
Kent St Specialty Coffee, enjoyed a very nice Columnian Santa Rica piccollo very delicate smooth buttery notes, went down a treat. The food was amazing, fresh and fantastic flavour combinations and generous portions very good value for money. Highly recommend thanks crew and well done.
Order: Espresso and Banana Bread. Espresso: "House blend" of 4 primarily south pacific beans (primarily PNG). Good underlying notes but too sour. Banana bread was nice. I was surprised by the size of the place. Heaps of seating and nice wooden floors. Warehouse feel was probably the most impressive... Read more

Great coffee and great staff. Spent a week in Sydney, was worried I wouldn't have time to find a good coffee spot, found this place on the first day and didn't go anywhere else.
Stumbled across this place while visiting Sydney, the coffee was great and the decor/setting was rad, I will definitely hit this place up next time I'm in Sydney
Cool decor, coffee palatable. Potential.

I really want to like this place. The warehouse style space is a fantastic break from Sydney's normally kiosk/milk bar inspired inner city cafes. Unfortunately though the coffee is not consistent. On first visit my latte was fantastic. Second visit weak but acceptable. Third visit was so bad it... Read more
pouring steam milk over the coffee is not coffee .whoever are drinking those is just the waste of money .

Good coffee. If you're nearby definitely drop in but it's not a "must visit" place.
I regularly hit this joint. They often pull a good shot but can sometimes be a bit inconsistent. Good atmosphere, nice staff, good food. Their syphon coffee is $12 unfortunately so haven't tried it- bit too dear for my liking.
Coffee is ok, pity I can't say the same for the service. I was ignored the first time I visited, so I walked out. Only went back as it's right across the road from where I'm staying, I was greeted by "Next" - what ever happened to "hi". My coffee & food were dumped on the table & delivered with a... Read more

Coffee has been great two days in a row but I tried to get some bfast this morning and was extremely disappointed - toast slices really small, really skimpy on the peanut butter - for a whopping $7.50 I expect a lot more!!!
Kent st Speciality Coffee is an absolute wonderful experience. Once inside the Cafe the warm and tranquil atmosphere takes over and all your worries and troubles are forgotten.
It is a hidden treasure that once you experience you will keep coming back for more.

This is far and away the best coffee house around! The person who gave it a bad review must of been having a bad day, week, life whatever.
The single origins are great, as is the house blend. The baristas are expert and having the Slayer is a huge bonus.

After hearing a rumour a Slayer resided there, Kent St Specialty Coffees waited on my “to-do list” a total of 4 days. Upon entering, I was impressed with the scale of the listed heritage building’s grand dark hardwood pillars supporting the high ceiling above the very open, inviting space... Read more
Okay - so I walk in, everything feels all arty-farty....the music, the floor, the dude behind the counter and the paintings... that can only be good, right? Arty people have good taste in coffee... well I'm partially right.
The Coffee - okay, a bit steep for a regular coffee for $3.... Read more
Best coffee I've had since moving to Sydney from Melbourne Most unique setting for a cafe I have encountered in the Sydney cbd, very Melbourne!!
Stumbled on this place that just opened. Awesome converted old warehouse. Coffee........OUTSTANDING....well constructed, great taste, full body with a great level of acidity and citrus. Combined with the 3 Group Slayer, Ferrari red ACF cups and beautiful latte art this is a must for all us coffee... Read more
while the foods are quite ok the coffee goes down to the drain
heard abt the slayer had resided in kent street , i didnt see it. coffee is just drinkable , food is horrible what else do i have to u say .they r missing the tempo in every aspect of business.
3 Espressos
despite the fact that they have one of the most prestigious coffee machine (Slayer) I don't feel that they could extract any goodness out of it
their coffee isn't that bad but rather inconsistent most of the time the coffee would be quite rather good but sometime it's barely drinkable
