Regulars here - my piccolo was strong smoky zingy different with each mouthful. Interesting. Tad metallic in bits tad bitter, tad this and that - but at least it's interesting, not boring and not plain. Macaroons still yum. Good pit stop.
This cafe is situated in a spacious setting on the ground floor of the Queen Victoria Building. The coffee I had based on Piaza D'Oro beans was creamy and smooth with a mild after taste. I enjoyed it.
This is the second time i've been to Bacio, the last time some 12mths ago, and little has changed. Positioned as it is in a busy thoroughfare, surrounded by expensive fashion and the like, Bacio has the potential to be something amazing. Unfortunately it under-delivers on all fronts.
Me flat white is a bit hot and bitter! Ordinary services.
The place was packed with shoppers and tourists when I went here and service took forever. Coffee was OK, but by no means good enough to wait 15 minutes for a takeaway.
We always enjoy the coffee here, esp. the espresso, and the little sweets are nice. They seem to take pride in their coffee. However, it is in the middle of a busy section, just northwest of the centre dome in the Queen Victoria Building, and the tables/seats are on an uneven floor.
