    Have only visited a few times, but it is no accident that this place gets consistently great reviews. Coffee is lovely and the food very nice. Staff are friendly and attentive. I plan on returning often.

    Could not fault this place at all. I was earlier in week and coffee and the service was perfect. Friendly staff, perfect coffee and friendly service. Short black was spot on.

    Venturing into Surry Hills on what turned into a warm summers day got better when i hit this spot that i have heard so much about. Great vibe, albeit a little tight between tables during the lunch rush, but the food, service and coffee were all good. Will be back and would happily recommend it.

    Busy little place! We squeezed into a spot on one of the window bench seats. Quite lucky really, as line started to develop once we were seated. I felt a little guilty because we were only having coffee, but I soon got over it and thoroughly enjoyed the coffee they produce here.

    Highly recommended by friends and was well worth it. Half black came out fast. Food was great and happy to look after me and not rush me out when I was done.

    Great coffee, with a good consistency in the milk. Tried their filtered coffee and was a little disappointed, but their coffee in a bowl does it for me everytime.

    Very disappointed. I'm all about efficiency, but when my coffee is out in under 2 minutes when a cafe is busy, you know quality has been compromised. Weak, weak, and very weak. Ill give it another crack but ill be mindful of how quickly my coffee is prepared.

    Gnome used to be my local cafe before I moved, miss this place heaps! Try to visit when I can on weekends or on my day off. They make a great latte and a delicious brekkie!

    this little nook, is rustic with a warm and friendly vibe. Coffee is amazing and their simple menu is so good you wouldn't want anything else. Definitely one of the best up this side of crown.
