3 months again since my previous visit. The welcome is always friendly and today my flat white was made with a Rwandan single origin bean. Smooth with a hint of acidity that cut through the milk.

Service = Excellent These guys certainly know their stuff! Coffee blend is smooth, however in my opinion, a little on the weak side. Will be back for seconds.

To anyone wanting a really decent coffee and brownie in the Rockdale area - definitely the cafe to go to is Swallow! Excellent atmosphere, service, music and the coffee is one of the best! Thx guys - awesome!
Awesome! Nothing like a barista who takes pride in his coffee. Single Origin Piccolo was just great. Food was great as well.
Gorgeous fit out, very welcoming staff, sophisticated service, delicious coffee!!!
Nice little espresso bar. Just open about 6 months. Good coffee and good service.
Fantastic little coffee shop situated conveniently by the train station. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I ordered a double ristretto latte and was very impressed with it. After I got talking with the barista she brought me over a tasting platter for me the try a short... Read more

Been to Swallow many times and the coffee is consistently great...it's our favourite coffee in Sydney (at this stage!)
The food is simple but good, but the focus really is the coffee, and that is what the owners will tell you.
The house blend is consistently reliable for... Read more
Great coffee, nice service.
Love this place, I visit whenever i'm in the area.
Been over a dozen times now and there coffee here consistently delivers. Food is simple but good quality, and staff friendly and unpretentious.
No wonder the barista asked where I'd been! According to Beanhunter it's been three months since my last review. Today's single origin was from El Salvador. It was smooth and balanced but not as strong a coffee as I prefer. Can't knock the consistency and service though. 12/02/2013

I had to drop in to Rockdale on business.
That's always a good thing because I get to visit Swallow.
Well today was special I was intrigued by a bag of beans on the counter from Thailand.
I don't recall having coffee from Thailand before and the barista noticed and asked if I'd... Read more

Single Origin day at Swallow 7/8/2012. Tanzanian Blackburn Estate (again). Nice in my usual flat white. If you haven't tried Swallow Coffee Traders yet, do yourself a favour and make the effort.

I've been back twice since my last review. Both times on a Tuesday so as to enjoy a different single origin. The most recent was from Kenya. As always, the coffee is great no matter where it comes from as the team at Swallow do a great job with them all.

Single Origin day at Swallow 26/6/2012.
Tanzanian Blackburn Estate.
Had as a piccolo instead of my usual flat white.
It was served with a shot of sparkling water on the side.
My less than brilliant palate managed to notice the apple cider tartness that Jess said it... Read more
I remembered today was Single Origin day so made my way to Rockdale before they ran out. Luck was with me today and got to enjoy a lovely flat white and some chit chat with Jess (who remembered that I drink flat whites).
It's been a while since I was in Rockdale but I had to drop something off there sometime this week.
I realised it was Tuesday, which is the day Swallow features a single origin bean.
Last time I was too late and I thought to myself I might miss out again but was going to try.

Having started a new job in Rockdale, I was wondering how I was going to survive without good coffee to see me through the day.
Luckily for me, without asking, a few people brought to my attention Swallow Coffee Traders.
My good luck continued, in that they were only about two... Read more
