  I found out recently that the boys from Shenkin (Bar, Din and their father Eric) had quietly opened a new outlet on King St Newtown in the form of an Espresso Bar.

  What a great little place.The coffees were fab & really yummy selection of cakes.Lovely staff created a very nice natmosphere. This place was recommended to us & we weren't disappointed.Ticks all of our boxes.We will be back.

  I was told that a new shenkin had opened up where the old fish shop once stood. Of course I had to check it out as one of the best baristas around 'Dean the bean machine' was sure to be squeezing out perfect extractions of superior beans.

  The coffee in this little cafe is divine. Smooth, perfect drinking temperature and the smell of the pastries cooking away is incredible. Be quick, only 4 seats in the house! Although you can perch on the ledge outside too.

  Have enjoyed great service & awesome coffee here, cosy atmosphere & always want to go back for more! The lads take pride in their espresso technique & offer a great range of cakes & other tasty drinks. Cheers!

  Nice new cafe, though there is very limited seating, takeaway is the only option every time that I have gone there.

  I will get off at a different train station so that I can walk via this gem. A tiny nook - yet the painstaking efforts put into the preparation, extraction, and creation of every coffee is a wonderful and welcome sight. The result: Magnificence.
