We popped by for lunch recently. Food was pretty good. The cappuccino I had was better than average. Would definitely consider going back.
Espresso Organica looks great. There are some really nice pieces of furniture & I love that you can see the coffee being roasted (although I wish I could smell it as well). Although the fit out is interesting, the cafe lacked ambiance & atmosphere & I think this was mainly because of the service,... Read more
1 Cappuccino
Coffee was average. Espresso left a an aftertaste which indicated that the machine needed a clean. Lacking in depth of strength and flavour. Milk work was good and baristas seemed knowledgable.
Service was pretty non-existent as they were pretty busy.
Overall, pretty... Read more
Espresso was fine, but finished before the latte arrived. To be honest I do feel something has been lost in the move to bigger premises. Certainly service is challenged.
This place used to do great coffee when it was in its original premises. Unfortunately the move to a bigger joint as also brought a slipping of the quality and standards of the coffee. Perhaps they struggle to retain the individual attention to each coffee now they have to churn out higher... Read more
Finally!!!!
Tom has moved four doors up the road to the corner and has taken espresso Organica to the next level.
There's now seating for many and three espresso machines pumping it out!
I only dropped in for an espresso but will be back to try out his wood fired pizza oven.
What's the hype about this place...the size and atmosphere is something else but it stops here...latte was bitter and acidic felt funny after drinking the coffee...we had a ristretto to finish off and it was very average where's the body within ...? Chicken souvlaki was tender and well presented... Read more
1 Latte, 2 Ristrettos
Great coffee.. Love the ideas going on here but still a few teething problems... Had a couple entrees and would recommend both food and coffee
Dinner we had was awesome, pleasant surprise. So went for breakfast to see if it was just as great.
Coffee..... Average.
Food .... I had eggs Benedict and all you could taste was the vinegar from the water they cooked the eggs in.
This was a major let down.
Found this place while visiting family in Sydney and have been back multiple times since. A beautiful shop with good food and one of the best espresso's I've had. Roasting their own beans you know you are having fresh coffee that works straight up or with milk (short mac). I go back every time I am... Read more
Called in on Thurs night Had nice Cappuccino not to strong nicely decorated thought the young Barista did an excellent Job. Found Service very polite and efficient . Meals were plentiful and served well, Will definitely go back
Finally had a coffee here after driving by many times. The latte I had was nicely strong, not bitter but no subtle flavours (that I could detect). It was made with the house blend which I think had some Robusta in it. Overall the coffee was pleasant and I shall return for another coffee soon.
coffee is good and strong but I give the service a 1/10 because we had 2 heaters put on for us and the owner came out and told us were only allowed one heater because we ordered only two coffees and desert. very unproffesional and bad service. its a shame because we come so far from Brighton le... The special blend coffee bean is utilised by the barista to make one of the best cups of coffee in Sydney. The new location is tastefully decorated and the space used well to create a relaxed environment. Haven't seen this place even close to empty - but it's well worth the crowds!
2 Espressos
Family run cafe with regular supply of freshly roasted beans available. Knowledgable and friendly atmosphere - worth stopping by several times to try their Mocha Java and single origin options.
Yeah its moved. Just as busy, more than twice as big. But its lost that cafe feel and gone restaurantie. Added to which my coffee was bitter. I'll try it one more time, but I am not sure its an improvement from the coffee perspective.
1 Espresso, 1 Latte
Wonderful coffee (espresso). Often very busy so I am not the only one to think so. Roasts on site, and the aroma fills the cafe. Service is excellent. Has multiple grinders so offers a variety of beans.
