  Went again with a friend. Not as impressive this time but still very good. A tad weaker taste than I would've liked in my piccolo. Consistent? maybe not as good as it could be. Still, remains on my favorites.

  The worst coffee I have had in a while. Poured half of it down the drain it was that bad. Couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was that made it taste horrible. Given all the excellent reviews below, I am given to think it may have just been a one off and will give the Marionette another go.

  Very nice establishment. Such an old style cafe but it has so much personality. The coffee was really nice. Had a somewhat woody texture! If I had more time I would sit on their leather couches and read books all afternoon. Really pleasant experience. Ill be back!

  Stopped by for a quick t/a flat white. Good coffee not exceptional; good crema, temperature and nice flavour, although would have liked just a little more of a punch. Great vibe here and friendly staff.

  Try the cold drip ! Then wash it down with a short black. You might find you need another cold drip, just cause its so good !

  It's very difficult to find fault with this one.

  First time visit to The Little Marionette, sadly my espresso was thin and very bitter, my mate ordered a double ristretto and he was pretty impressed.

  Second visit, great Colombian espresso served in a neat marble cup. Really syrupy and balanced with a long finish. Pic was also very tasty. Friendly staff and one of my favorite fit outs in Sydney, love the false wall bookcase, very hip.

  I've never had a bad coffee from this place. I live the ambiance, especially the "secret room". Sometimes tough on the weekend to get a seat, so maybe I should be writing a bad review ;) Seriously though, it's on our top 3 list of weekend coffee destinations. Friendly staff behind the counter helps too.

  I'm a regular visitor here after originally trying coffee at the Balmain cafe. The place is usually buzzing with an eclectic mix of local folks.

  Coffee was beautiful! Barista's friendly. pretty quick service (it was a Saturday morning). funky decor, a little cramped. Going back for sure. Highly recommended.

  Wow!!! 3rd visit and just as impressed. surfer 'dude' behind the machine made the most impressive espresso. followed by a flurry of perfect different origins. wish i didnt live so far away!
