  In the area on holiday, I tried several cafes in the salamander/Nelson Bay area and this was clearly the standout. Coffee is Allpress and handled well. I visited on a 35 degree day, making it uncomfortable indoors as there is no aircon, but their outdoor seating was shaded and pleasant enough.
