I got a mocha here...and it is to die for - good coffee with melted chocolate around the inside of the cup...amazing! So good that I know of at least two other businesses who have copied this idea in Kiama, but Short Black were the first.

Had a very pleasant piccolo made by "grumpy smurf", who I am actually starting to warm to. Basic service could have easily improved by offering water.
Cafe on the main street of Kiama. Coffee was very good. Not a bold blend but pulled perfectly. Not bitter and a nice aftertaste. Milk was perfect temperature. Using La Zumba blend which I had never heard of but is decent enough.
Given the number of coffee outlets in the main street, it's surprising that this unassuming cafe has the best coffee of them...its not the absolute best coffee though, I'd still go around the corner and find a cafe serving Daily Grind.
Smooth tasty coffee with nice lingering aftertaste.
Owner was very rude and had a terrible attitude.
While waiting for a table inside I asked the owner for some menus, and was told we had to wait to be seated to get a menu, or we could go outside and look at the menu in the window. We decided to wait.
