  Strong coffee,but lacked heat, even though I asked for extra hot it was luke warm. I had to put a sugar in my mocha which I don't usually do as it was so strong and didnt have much of a chocolate flavour.

  Excellent double shot cap. Fluffy / creamy head, lots of crema, just enough chocholate on top, and excellent temp. Well done to the glee team.

  Great coffee, but there isn't really any room to sit down! They've definitely worked out that they do great coffee and don't need to offer much else. And I don't think they have eftpos, which is a pain if you aren't prepared. The best takeaway option on Darby St.

  Seriously who in their right mind would give this place a bad review. Someone said it was watery coffee. Hah. Never ever had a watery coffee here. Only the best coffee is found here.

  Out of single origin blend this morning so I got 4 origin blend which was slightly disappointing. Will however go back to give the single origin a go, I've heard good things about it.

  Good honest expresso bar. These guys roast their own beans and provide your morning hit without any of the marketing frills. Strong coffee is a standard and delivered up fairly promptly. Well worth a try...

  Today I had one of the nicest doppio ristrettos I've had in months anywhere. Also had a single origin pour-over and some cold drip coffee. This has to be one of Newcastle's best spots for the love of coffee. : )

  Went back in after a couple of months away. Still bet coffee on Darby. Tried hot chokkie for the first time, all I can say is Yippee, new favourite!

  These guys have their coffee down pat, it puts the stuff from the local restaurants to shame. Unfortunately it has slightly restrictive opening hours. Great staff, great beans.

  Happy people equals happy coffee. The attitude of the baristas is represented in the quality cup they produce. I've only been there a few times, but have never been disappointed. My pick on Darby.

  Newcastle off shoot off their Central Coast base. Was happy to see them arrive in Newcs. Knowledgeable and personable staff/barista's , will remember your order. Coffee is of very high quality.
