  Tried this place twice, both times being very average in which I couldn't drink the coffee.

  Not at all worth a visit. Sign up advertising their single origins and was told "oh we don't have these here". Picolo was ordinary, milk super burnt and espresso was almost tasteless. To top it off, my coconut-macaroon thing had mould on the bottom.

  A Newcastle icon for good coffee has now moved into the eyesore that is Charlestown Square. Which is great. Now somewhere that we can trust the coffee will be consistently amazing and hot.

  The charlestown shop is just sooo convienient! I am always at the newcastle store, but whenever Im in the area I always stop in. I have never been disappointed

  Thank god for the warm 'mouth cuddle' of Sprocket after the kids had a go on the ice-skating rink at Charlestown. They provide me with a dose of coffee and sanity!

  Had two extra large soy lattes 2day.......Yummy! Two different girls made the coffees but I jst had to go back for the second (bad day) and both were equally wonderful

  Coffee is ok, but the service depends on who you get each day. They take way too long to make your coffee and get distracted too easily. Lacks consistency in the coffee and service. Sad considering their "green" image.

  The coffee was great. Choice of beans is impressive, as is the staff ensuring that they are making it correctly. I will say i was a little disappointed at the time it took considering it being very quite, but the product made up for it.

  A visit to Sprockets Charlestown has become a daily ritual for my family. A play in the garden for the kids and great coffee for Mum/Dad (and maybe a yummy treat if we've all been good - wish they'd bring back the pear and raspberry bread!?)

  Awsome coffee!! OMG good, worth braving the hordes of small children to get to. Food is good for what it is. Nothing fancy but always fresh and tasty. But seriously, coffee is amazing, beyond what you'd expect from some random thing in a shopping centre, that's for sure XD

  This place is very handy when i have the kids as it is situated right next door to a kids play area, also amongst the child store precinct of the shopping centre. Coffee isn't too bad, but can be a little inconsistant, but mostly I'll just have something else from the menu.

  I took some friends and their kids there again the other day. I think they were using a different blend to last time bt it was still great. I think my friends are in love with the fact they can have a coffee and the kids run a muck :)

  I get coffee here fairly regularly with my friends, and as a bit of a cafine addict, I find it is about the only place I recommend in a shopping center. The coffee is amazing and the service is quick, all the better to continue with my shopping.

  Charlestown Sprocket is in such a great location, their atmosphere is slightly different to the store in town but still has the same quirk about it. The coffee is great and the food menu is growing, if anything I wish Icould have the Secret Garden and Sprockt at home!
