Alright, so wanting to avoid Darby/Beaumont et al, I gave it another go. The food was still good but not great but the coffee this time was much better. I retract my previous review and say cross the bridge and judge for yourself
Unsure of the area, I just chose the cafe closest to me from bean hunter . Turned out to be a beauty!! Great coffee, fresh breakfast, value for money. Trendy vibe. Will be coming back.
Had my usual double shot latte, plus i had a bacon and egg roll for a late breakfast... coffee was pleasant, didn't have lots of flavour to it, but was enjoyable.
The bacon and egg roll was a nice touch, and the cafe's back room has a nice quietness to it, seeing that everyone there was in... Read more

Review round two.... Different brownie, still awesome :) I have a piccolo this time around and still it is on the milder side of the spectrum but very tasty none the less. I'm still going to recommend that people make the trip across. It is worth it.
Impressed with my espresso there, barista was friendly and the sweets were good. Love the little internal lounge room.

Coffee is well worth going to Carrington for. Inside the cafe is a bit dull though.
My friend suggested we try this new place in carrington. Great idea! Lovely food and wonderful coffee. Out of the way, but well worth the trip
2 Soy Lattes, 1 Ristretto
My latte had such a deep head of foam that I had to wait 10mins to start drinking or else commit to wearing a lactose mustache of sorts. I ordered the coffee without sugar however the drink was terribly sweet - most probably to do with the shear amount of aforementioned micro bubbles.
Great coffee and food. This place is a hidden gem and worth the short trip to Carrington from Newcastle.
Nice little local secret over the bridge. Andy (prev of Suspension) has opened his own place. Good, consistent coffee perhaps lacking a bit of the sweetness that other places can pull. Excellent customer service. The place is kid friendly with lots of space and a good menu.

Devine coffee a bit slow at times but well worth the wait.
Love Andy's coffee.
Amazing coffee! Best I've had in a while. Looking forward to trying the breakfast!
Best coffee around I go there twice a day and haven't been disappointed yet. The food is also very nice. Well worth the trip to this little gem.
These guys, Andy and Jesse, have a great set up. Very friendly and welcoming. Coffee is consistently good, strong and smooth. Check out the back as well a fantastic garden
First time to this little cafe and we cross the Carrington bridge into the time warped suburb just to go there. Luckily we weren't disappointed. The place looks like a converted shop, maybe a butchery?
We sat in the back which has a nice eclectic feel and although the place wasn't very busy... Read more
I found some spare time before work to finally get here after hearing about from a number if people. Somewhat disappointing. There is nothing wrong with anything they do but nothing outstanding either. The coffee was nice, maybe just a little on the weak side, breakfast was good but standard bacon,... Read more
