  Fantastic coffee, great service. Highly recommended. I live in Katoomba so am spoiled for choice, but always get my daily coffee from True to the Bean.

  *** NO EFTPOS *** Good coffee, although I'd be truly surprised if it were the best in Katoomba. The staff are friendly and efficient, however the waffles, about which I'd heard so many good things, were dry and cold.

  Very impressed with this little place, the Barista/owner was super coffee geek and was more than happy to talk coffee and swap knowledge. I had a strong flat and a nice and short double ris of the Nicaraguan. Both were very well executed. Definitely worth stopping into.

  Quirky in appearance but serious where it counts. Robust coffee with Belgian waffles. Wish I could take the whole place home to be the new local. Definite visit if you miss the bean.

  Coffee wasn't as good as expected. The cafe was also too quiet even with other customers there- no music and because the cafe is tiny, made my friend and I feel like we were being listened to!

  Lisa is, as everyone says, a coffee geek from way back. You go to this place for the coffee, which is consistently beautifully executed. Not much offered in food to go with it. The waffles are fine, if you like that sort of thing, but it's the coffee that counts here.
