  I LOVE Silo. I visit every time I am in Canberra. Hard to get a seat and they are very busy. The bread, pastries, tarts, wine, cheese, sandwiches etc, are all first class. The coffee is terrible. Have a glass of wine with lunch. Ver civilised.

  Grabbed a bite to eat and a couple of coffees here the other day. Great looking cafe and boy was it busy. The coffee was distinctly average.   This little spot offers by far and away the best atmosphere in Kingston for a coffee and a bite to eat. Coffee is consistently fabulous and the food on offer is select and superb.   Do yourself a favor and wander around to the Kingston Grind. Silo is like a factory - get them in, get them out. And their coffee is so overrated as to be ridiculous.

  One of the best in Kingston/Maunka, would rival some established well known Sydney / Melbourne places for food and coffee. Food was fresh, coffee was creamy and smooth, service was smooth like their coffee.

  Great pastries however the coffee was terrible. Firstly served from a drinking glass not a coffee cup/mug. Secondly they had no flavours. The coffee was also burnt and bitter noticeable on arrival from the colour of the froth.

  Silo was the place to go for coffee but they have a new machine and barista and well for whatever reason it's just too bitter and not as good as it used to be. I understand creamy scrambled eggs have cream but not so much it's swimming in it...
