Very nice coffee. Different and interesting breakfast menu. Pretty simple but cheap.
I always return to Mocan, sincerely hoping the last bland coffee I had here wasn't indicative of all of the coffees I could have here, but every time I'm sadly reminded that it's *just* a coffee they serve. It's a bit bitter and thin, and I'm not falling over the interestingly arranged space, either.
Yeap this is the one.
I would give them a perfect 10 but I have only been there a few times.
Delicious coffee. Interesting and good space. Yummy food. Yet to disappoint!
Awesome coffee - smooth and well balanced, strong as it should be, and not too hot. Interesting and eclectic atmosphere, with fixies and retro cycling. Service is good, although they're often very busy. Recommended
Great locality and on the sunny side of the street in the morning. Pumping vibe and a great layout. My wife found this place and said "It looked like it had flown in from Melbourne!". Nice staff, very laid back. Food looked good. Coffees looked pretty good as well. Our first cups went straight back... Read more

I'd heard about this place and decided to try it. Unfortunately, very disappointing, which is a shame as they're very friendly and obviously trying very hard to offer something good. I ordered a latte. It certainly had a unique aroma and some decent colour in the microfoam from the espresso. The... Read more
I dropped in to this tiny place on my way to the city, it was packed to overflowing, with only one barista on the machine. This made me re-think my choice but decided to give it a go anyway. The coffees were so much quicker than I expected, not to mention the perfect extraction and milk! Well done!
A great little cafe servicing the rapidly developing Acton precinct. The quality of the caffe lattes is consistently good and the staff go out of their way to provide quality services and seem keen to remember their clients and produce coffees without needing a reminder. If attending the new... Read more
Back again and as always really good coffee. one of the few places around that is open on a Sunday and does coffee worth drinking.
I'm from sydney and had my doubts about Canberra coffee but I was pleasantly surprised by this cool cafe. Great vibe, friendly staff and good food which they cooked in the middle of the cafe! Very cool. I'll definitely come again when I'm next in town. Also fair trade coffee = bonus!
What a great spot, coffee spot on! After only one visit they knew my name and coffee preference ! The space is beautifully finished to be warm and inviting. Staff were super friendly!
Came along for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Nice vibe for a Saturday. Relaxed, small space run smoothly. Double shot flat white and a piccolo both made really well. Good temperature and milk silky and nicely set, none of this watery "it'll do attitude" you find sometimes. Bagels were... Read more
Wow - I love this place.
Coffee was good - need to get professional coffee glasses though.
Found this esspresso bar by chance when my husband and I were out on our Vespa. We hadn't been to New Acton in a while and wanted to see how the completed apartment development turned out. The esspresso was quite good. It was full bodied with a slight pleasant bitter note which then left a smooth... Read more
This place is a absolute gem! You could put this Cafe in any major city and it would fit in! Very classy guys.
Cool little place. Coffee is pretty good. Amazing realchai. nice atmosphere.
This is the second time I have been to Mocan and Green Grout the first time just for coffee (which was yummy) and this time for coffee and food. The atmosphere in this place is wonderful! It is like being transported to a cute little alleyway cafe in Melbourne. The service was great although we... Read more
1 Flat White, 1 Espresso, 1 Piccolo
For me: the best coffee coffee in Canberra - rich complex flavour - delicious!!
The chai is also exceptional it's realchai so you know there's no nasties (like in powdered chai) and a beautiful full bodied flavour.
Keep up the good work guys

Had a great coffee there the other day. Mild and sweet and not bitter at all. The vibe is very cool there too, plus friendly staff and good, inexpensive food.
Back again today and yet again they had nice espresso with good body and a nice lasting flavour.
I was also quite surprised at how busy they were, but I guess there are not many good cafés open on a Sunday.
Nice little hole in the wall café that is very focused on their coffee. I get consistently very good coffee from these guys. The place it's not big, but they have out door seating around the garden bed out the front. The staff are nice and friendly and are happy to have a chat.
Stopped in for my morning coffee, first visit to this eclectic hole in the wall. Coffee took a long time to come out, it was a lovely day though so I don't mind. But I expected it to be great as it wasn't that busy. I wasn't disappointed. Smooth, strong and nice texture to the milk, perfect... Read more
